Hi Guys,
I saw a video on line of a roadster when opening the top, it has a large side cover flap , and then a smaller side flap that folds out of the larger one. I looked at my 2012 and it only has the large side flaps. Am I missing the smaller one that folds out? Or did Mercedes ditch the smaller one after they released the roadster?

Anyone have any pictures of theirs? Anyone know?

For the life of me I can never remember a smaller side cover flap, only the larger one.

Can anyone take detailed pictures of those side flaps..specifically the underside of it, and any mechanisms there.

here are pics of mine... perhaps they gave up on the smaller side flap.. I dont see anywhere it could mount. And does not look like it broke off or anything

Never mind... they obviously made 2 different versions.. I think they ditched the double flap, as it added a ton of complexity to it. I found a You tube video showing the complex double flap version

I wonder when they changed the design over from 2 flaps to one? Or vice versa?

Cause it seems there are 2 very different flap designs.

Maybe my car was a early design car? It was built in 2011. And sold in 2012.

I have double flaps on my 2011. That’s very odd . I’ve only ever seen double flaps and I’ve even had one side replaced by merc
