Lowered Cars
After you guys lowered your E55's, do you guys scrape over dips or speed bumps? I know it can be somewhat avoided if you drive carefully, like drive diagonally over the dips and speed bumps. I'm just curious what I have in store for me if I lower my car.

This really depends on how low your car is. There's a regular low which is like mine(not slammed low) and there are low's like slammed low. When i drive mine i don't scrape period! It's just exactly what i've planned cuz i don't want to have to deal with all the scraping and stuff so mine is just about right. Hope this helps.

I think the front came down too low though because it has a pretty steep slope forward. The wheel well is really filled in up front but not that much on the rear.
What pads you running??

Not sure if this question is for me but here's my 2 cents. I'm running stock pads right now. And the front and back looks just about right for me. I've measured the front to have at least 1 finger and the rear about the same. Hope this answers your question.

How come it looks kind of weird. As if the fronts are just totally dropped and the rear is very high. Did you take this pics on a flat road/surface or was it like downhill? Just looks wrong??? Here's a pic of mine before the wheels were installed and this already had the suspensions installed...

Ok, so I just jacked up the car and checked... I have #3 pads front and rear. What are other people running?

This 300 looks nearly the same... but he is running 1s up front. It's kinda frustrating actually because you go to the "experts" who have done a bunch of these installs and you ask them what their thoughts are on the spring pads... and they just reply whatever you want. It's up to the customer.

I was refering to the 300 in that it had a similar look to mine... and Lightman is in the same boat.. "should I bring the front up"
What pads do you have Jam on your '02??

As far as my spring pads i'm using stock. Not really sure what they are but they are stock. You can probably call your local dealer and ask them what the stock spring pads are for your 02 E55 and they can tell you. The pads itself are probably like $10-$20bucks from your dealer.

But the rear in my opinion does not look as high as i imagined in your first post.
But if you feel it is high bro, I agree with the others, bring up your front.

merc123, nice car. I have no idea if the butt is suppose to stick up like that, but it looks wicked! Kind of like those KoolArt cartoon cars, they are always raked at an angle with the rears up high.
