Bulb replacement
I'm sure I can find this somewhere else, but don't want to take the time. I just need a quick answer. What is the replacement bulb size for the daylights? I guess you can call them that.
Thanks!
Thanks!

I forget the size but they are small Halogen bulbs. I couldn't find them listed online by application or at the CarQuest next to my office. Found them at NAPA an they were about $15.

the bulbs are H6W. you can do a search on here for "H6W" and there should be tons of threads. some ppl use the LED ones with resistors with good results. I have used the LEDS, but now just have the stock jammies in there.

i've used thier 4 led ones before, kinda dim but looked pretty good. with these, the pins are at 180 degrees, so you'd have to sand one of the pins down to fit the mb socket.

i've also tried some of the bulbs from here as well. but they didn't fit because they were too wide for the headlight hole. they do sell the resistors however.

i've tried a mess of the high powered led bulbs. the problem unfortunately is the width if these bulbs. they don't fit into the hole of the headlight.

From you first link I wonder how dim the single LED bulbs would be, and from your second link they wouldn't all be to big would they? Would you happen to know which would fit?
Oh and which resistor would I need?

the single led bulb is VERY dim, don't even waste your time with those. the 4led ones JUST fit into the holes. i ordered about 3-4 different "high-powered" led bulbs from the second link, and they all didn't fit.

the other set arrived today, so after work i threw them in and took acouple of pics. it was dark already by the time i got home, so if you want some daytime pics let me know.
in the driver's side are these jammies:
and the passenger side are these:
pics:
the lights really are not as blue as that last pic seems. they are definitely whiter with a hint of blue. i didn't adjust white balance on the camera, i just whipped it out and took some pics quick.
the driver's side 6 led bulbs are brighter than the 5 SMD led bulbs in the passenger side. i figured the latter would be brighter, but the little smd led's just don't produce enough light to be effective in the housing imo. and with the 6 led bulbs, they point forward, so more light obviously would be projected forward. and i still haven't installed the resistors

They look great from what I can tell. If you are satified with them, please send me the exact link of the ones you like (so I know exactly which ones and don't screw up by getting the wrong ones again). It is hard to tell which one is the better..looks like thought it could be the driver side??
If you can take pics of them in the day light, please do.
Oh and are the resistors ness. for this?

I bought the pair of LED light that 45acp installed on the driver side. I'm impressed how good they look.
If anyone if tired of there yellow bulbs these are a cheap fix for just $10. Try them you won't be sorry.
I was also amazed on how close they matched my 8000K fog lights. They are a great compliment.

I don't know why you guys don't have the same problem I do but which ever LED type bulbs I use it trip a Lamp out warning light I try every type of LED out there. I just bought these type of LED and install it last night. once i see the Lamp out warning light I got pissed and take it off. Only one that doesn't trip the warning light are the Blue Non_LED type
xlr8tin, these blue one are really bright, as bright as the LED one in the picture. I couldn't tell the different but I didn't like the dash warning light. I wanted to get all LED because they last 10x longer than reg bulb
I have so many LED bulbs! I'm afraid to buy the LED tail light and W211 style projector light knowing it might trip a dash light.
I don't know why you guy not having this dash warning light when you use LED. Tail light bulb, even the license plate bulb don't like LED. .
