The front of my car has tons of paint chips, it only has 33k miles on it. What is everyone's thought of getting the hood painted than adding a clear bra to the front of the car?

I'm looking to paint mine soon also. How much did you spend on your paint job, if you don't mind me asking?

Clear bra is the way to go. It is the only sure way to really protect your paint. I recently installed it on my car and it saved me from at least 3 definite paint cracks between highway travels. I'm about to write a full review on Premier Mobile Group and their product. I'll definately send you the link when it is done.....

My insurance estimate to repaint the whole car was $5200. I made a deal with the the shop to do it for $4500 and paint my trunk lip spoiler and install it. The paint shop have to remove all the panel attached to the car included fenders, hood, trunk, bumpers, rocker panel, window trim & molding. Originally Posted by xlr8tin

I saw my car when they remove everything, it was scary!
. But they did a very good job, i can't fine an over spray any where.Hmmm, the rest of my car looks great. I'm not sure I need my entire car painted, just the hood. Then again I don't plan on selling it...even though the W211 E55 is starting to trickle right down in my price range.....Ahhh, the W210 is a solid 13 second car and it's paid for...hmmmm, should I repaint the entire car?
clear bra can not be applied to non factory paint.

Actually, I think it can be applied to any type of paint that has already been cured.Originally Posted by E55 KEV
