LOUD Brake Squeel....

But only in reverse. It's the only time I hear it, and it's LOUD! Makes my car sound cheap. Why am I having this issue?

I used to get that back when my brakes were old. Ended up going away after a couple 100miles.

By the way you been?

It's possible the rear (or front) brake pads are worn or almost worn out.

I have the same issue pulling out of my drive way (in reverse) on a damp or cold morning. The squeal disappears once the front rotors warm up. I believe this is normal.

Happens to me too... nothing to worry about. Goes away once the pads and rotors warm up.

It actually sounds worst than a cheap Honda; more like an old '54 Ford Crown Victoria.

I hear about some anti-vibration's to solve this problem, they are original MB part number with "A 220 ... .. .." (i dont know thats works for our W210's, maybe someone can check that info) they are installed inside the piston calipers & solve this squeel! in the original package i see 4 antivibrations (maybe for the 4 pistons W220 calipers) someone see thats for our amg single calipers?

It is your rear brake pads, they are very low. Your fronts are also pretty worn probably (assuming they were changed at the same time).

Rear pads will always wear out faster on our AMGs b/c of traction control, the rear brakes are constantly kicking in to control all that torque under the hood so the rears wear out quick if you drive aggressively.

Upgrades your pads to either axxis or Hawk, both are good pads (and have alot less brake dust than the stock pads).

Same issue here.... Although my previous S500 and E430 never had this issue when pulling out of my garage in reverse. Kinda annoying if you ask me...
