Just screams tuner boy to me. Why not paint the hood? You could always leave some cf showing on it and paint the majority of the hood your factory color.

I admit I'm new to the E55's, but what does the SL55 airbox do for you power wise? I don't like the way it makes the engine look, but that's beside the point.

there are some that say it flows more air... And there are some members that have proven its gains.... So i usually have a few lying around.... So why not...

How do you like that phantomgrip? It the was the funniest scene ever when I drifted the turbo e320 around my buddies 240sx at a little auto-x event. I love mine.

Wtf? You bought the whole car just for that? lol Damn! That's crazy. Keep us posted on that.

Interesting on that hood. I inquired about a hood like that for our cars and was told they don't have any. But that might have changed since that inquiry was maybe a couple of years ago or so. I was looking for a silver one too but not available.

Your customer has two great options. You can paint the top of the roof and trunk lid black or maybe a pattern around the hood edges, roof and top of trunk lid, or you can get Real Carbon Fiber on the roll and mount it over the roof and top of trunk clear it thick sand it down thin buff it out and everything looks carbon. I know a guy who did this to a motorcycle tank and fenders and they look great and of corse made of Carbon! Any good painter can do this.

What was the reason for switching?

Quote: What was the reason for switching?
it was slipping, spitting the axles out and dumping all the fluid.... All phantom does is reinforce the factory diff with springs and someother little stuff...

Where the quaife is much a better almost "drop-in" Complete replacement....

it was time, that diff was a orignal part of the car.....
