put a post on the w211 forum, it got quite a few peesp from VA on it. BTW, you in CA - I would think you could quicker find a car out west, no?

I've been looking and looking for the one that matches what I want, but I've come up with nothing here on the west coast. There was one in Texas, but the guy never got back to me. :/

There are couple out here in the state of Michigan also .. I know of one 01' with 120k miles . asking 9 thousand , was gonna ofer 6 cash lol , some rust on the wheels wells . was actually looking at maybe aquiring another . Silver ext, charcoal int .
How much are they selling for out west? Sorry not in Va so cant help or else I'd check it out for ya !!

I'm looking for an 02 specifically. Any color besides black, and navi is a plus. has to be clean title with no rust and has to have transmission service records. mileage has to be below 130k. Its been a tough search.
Out here, everyone is asking $15k or more for cars with the combos I don't want. I've seen that michigan one on craigslist. Pictures are blurry, and the rust scared me away.
But I might just end up getting Benzgal's car on here since its so well taken care of.

Ya most of the e55's you will find at these fly by night dealerships are ones that where obviously bought at auctions that the more reputable places passed on. Ideally would try to focus on ones that are privately owned as I mentioned when we talked on the phone. Be patient and get a good one.

the last thread I made was about that car. haha it's also a piece of crap. The passenger fender and the front bumper are damaged and it doesn't have any service records. The whole car's interior has been taken apart before.

hahah I just want it because I think the dash looks super plain and old fashioned with the single din cassette radio. I also like the fact that I can throw a CD into the dash and be able to enjoy the slightly better sound quality. As for finding directions, I have my hand held GPS unit handy.
