Took me e55 to a drag strip, crapy times
A buddy of mine invited me to a drag strip , he has a 07 335i chipped and catless. I decided what the hack, my car isn't running great but o well.
I did 2 runs without front o2s plugged in, and rest with them in, didn't seem to make ay differance
70 degree weather , 1000ft elevation
Only was able to get 5 runs in that evening and 2 of them had horrible wheel spin of the line and messed up the times, 3 runs lunches were somewhat decent, although i might need stickier tires
results are pretty disappointing: best run was 14sec flat with 101mph trap and 2,20 sec 60ft
two other runs were also 14 flat with 100 trap speed and 2.30 sec 60 ft times
for comparison, my friends 335i run best of 12.53 1/4 with 110mph trap and 1.9 60 ft times,, also a stock charger srt8 did 13.66 1/4 mile, and charger hemi did 14.9

Rule of thumb.... each .1 sec in 60' time is 2X ET Reduction...... So if you cut a 1.8 60's (with good launch and/or tires).... you could reduce ET by a full second.... and be low 13's to 13.000000
Track prep is a big factor, but it sounds like your friends are cutting good 60' so time to practice and check cond of tires, air pressure optimization, etc.....

I dunno, I mean they are supposed to be 13.3-13.5 seconds bone stock. So I mean a highly modified non s/c w210 should hit 12.5 especially if you can cut a 1.8 in your 60ft. It was samas car hopefully he can chime in. I've talked to him personally and he told me he didn't use a s/c when he had his car
