Pressure in fuel tank

Just wondering if it's normal to have a bit of pressure behind the fuel tank cap?

Every time I fill up there's a fair amount of pressure behind the cap.

You may have a clogged hoses or bad "purge valve" or bad check valve on the "constant charcoal filter".....!!

Hi cm60k

Thanks for the input, much appreciated.

You wouldn't happen to have the part number for the charcoal filter?

Your Welcome,,

I'm not sure about the Australian version,

U.S version comes with a different shape with a Vapor valve, but EURO/Japan comes with-out Vapor valve,

and they sharing the same # with a Purge valve,,

you should check, what’s the spec. of Charcoal filter you have....,,

A) U.S. Charcoal filter: "210 470 08 59" or "210 470 13 59"

B) EURO/Japan Charcoal filter: "210 470 03 59" or "210 470 04 59" or "210 470 10 59"

C) Vapor valve: "000 476 30 32"

D) Purge valve: "000 470 15 93" or "000 470 35 93"

Ok, great, thanks again.

Just out of interest, would there be any fault codes if any of these items failed?

I haven't got a reader yet, so interested in any suggestions

Cheers

There are many CEL #s, such as: (P0440/P0441/P0442/P0443/P0446/P0450/P0455/P0460),

all those codes related to the Fuel & Evap leaks or malfunction system.....
