Mine was coded to 210074 with option 030 AMG Variant in the first box, the other two boxes are blank. The actual is coded to 211076 with option 030.

Update, the Tech put in all codes and in the 1st box put 030, but the car still won't start!
In vehicle box at the top, does he have to put CLK 430? What code is that? The tech put 210.074.
Model destination I take it is 210074, then 030 in the 2nd box leaving the last 2 boxes blank?

Fabian, I have a CLK430 with a CLK55 engine conversion, I kept my 430 transmission. I installed 0305452332 Egs52.
My Tech wants to know what to put in each box?

Hi thanks Sickc43owner,
My EGS52 TCU is supposedly for a CLK.
I checked with the EPC and the Mecedes parts guy confirmed that it was for a later year model of CLK, so I'm thinking I won't need to change any lines?
I'll email you if I need the schematics!

im curious , have you tried swapping the can lines to match the wiring diagrams positions in the 211 module , they are completely different.

He also trys to get an EGS52 to work with his ME2.0 ... and the engine wont start.
If the can lines are twisted this could be the source of the problem. What values do your egs show? the one from ali shows the engine speed 750rpm ... but engine isnt running :/
greetings, Fabian

Diesel Engines has a different ECU set-up than our Gasoline’s, but it has the same ETC/EGS, program theory,
if your friend can match the EGS52 with his Diesel Engine ECU,,
i believe it can be done with our ME2.0 data/file.....!!

While he got E250TD, he supposed to have 3.45 diff., isn’t..?,
if so, this ratio should to be coded with his MSG/ECU data in the EGS52,
is the EGS52 can be coded in the 3.45.1 end...??

Fabian,
I have purchased a 06/2000 CLK55 ME2.8 complete car to transfer into my 99 C43 ME2.0.
I plan to transfer ME2.8 ECU,TCU,EIS ,larger 208 axles/flanges,208 rear subframe,220 2.82 Diff,Prop shaft, 722.636 trans,5.4 engine, touch shifter and cluster/steering wheel. The transmission harness and some other parts of the harness are identicle to the tiptronic W202 which should help alot,I'm assuming I will need a large part of the harness for the ME2.8 conversion.
I see the CLK55 ESP module and "turn rate"/ "Acceleration" sensors will need to be changed over, the wheel speed sensors are the same though.
By the looks I may also need to change the SAM?
Could you please tell me exactly which modules you had to replace to make ME2.8 compatible with the whole car?
I have MB star with developer also.
Cheers,
Paul

Hi Paul,
I changed:
- Engine
- ECU, Steeringwheel lock and keylock
- Transmission
- Cardan shaft
- Diff
- O² Sensors - Values are the same but the ME2.8 uses another sensor heating so the O² Sensors from the ME2.0 will be marked as defect in the ME2.8
- Radiator, but i think this should be no problem for you because of a AMG Engine allready is in your car.
- ESP/BAS/PML Control Unit to work with the ME2.8
- Gyro Sensor and ABS Sensor on the ABS Hydraulic Block to work with the new ESP/BAS/PML Control Unit
- Fresh Air intake in the hood to fit the AMG Airbox on the Engine, also this should be no problem as you allready have a AMG Airbox
- Fuel and Vacuum lines to fit the AMG Airbox ... same here, should be no prob for you.
- Brakes
hmn ... it think thats it
greetings, Fabian

Hello Fabian,
Thank you! I am really glad I have a complete donor car for this...
I didnt realise the ABS pump sensors were different!,I will change these also.
The newer O2 sensors must be 5 wire?,if so did the harness require changing as well?
Also, was there any need to change the signal acquisition module?(SAM) It appears they update this module in tiptronic W208/210!
Regards,
Paul

Jep ... a complete car is a must have
It is only the Preasure Sensor on the Hydraulicblock ... connector is the same, fits right in, no harness modification needed.
The Girosensor had another connector so i soldered the new connector on the harness as well. the new sensor had 1 wire more then the old ... but i couldnt find out what this wire stands for so i didnt connect it at all ... no errors so far and the giro sensor is working correctly. i think the aditional wire is connected to the me2.8 ... maybe for emergency shutdown in case of an impact or something like that ... dont know.
The new engine comes with the correct harness so you have the change the car side harness for the me2.8 ... there are a lot of cables wich need to be resoldered to the new connectors. it took me 2 days to do this.
The O² sensors are 1:1 the same ... except the heating for the sensor, you can change them 1:1... connectors are the same ... both have 4 wires. 2 for the sensor and 2 for the heating.
greetings, Fabian

Fabian,
Great info thanks!
Rather than soldering all the car side engine harness did you consider changing the harness over from ME2.8 E55?
I'm still puzzeled as to why SAM was updated with ME2.8, maybe ME2.8 uses additional signal and information not coded in the ME2.0

Paul
