That's a great price. Did you buy them from a private seller or from a vendor?

Magnecors/NGK Plugs/Valve Cover Gaskets/Powder Coat

ordered a set of Magnecor plug wires, NGK plugs for what I thought was gonna be a simple quick tuneup, but my right side was still leaking even after tightening a few months ago.

after replacing brittle valve cover gaskets my indie shop, Fluid MotorUnion, finished up the job with red powder coat on the valve covers.

...and an engine bay cleaning

By the way, I was mulling the idea of joining a group buy on shorty headers here on the forum, but decided to let FMU build a custom set of catless long tubes for me.
Obviously, there will be a tune to follow, and I'll start a new thread for that, but here's where we are, so far, on the build

more pics to follow!

I would like to share this amazing stuf I bought from a vendor selling them at the gas station the other day. No water needed. It does everything from cleaning my lenses to wash & wax my car. I just did both my headlights and the front right quarter panel....

I kind of haggler with him...three cans for $35. Really can't beat that. A bottle can cover the car three to four times including the rims You only need to spray it and let it sit for a while, then wipe it off and re-wipe it again with a terry cloth.

I just finished replacing the rear shocks, the left side was leaking oil (Top of shock blew out). Tried to replace fog lamps with yellow bulbs but had incorrect bulb (H1 instead of H3).

Tracked down the source of a vacuum leak causing my climate control vents to have a mind of their own. Actually have a question I posed in this older thread:

Well, not "today" but finished modifying my lighting. I was fighting a losing battle with the poor contacts of the factory rear housings.

LED turn signals (front and back) and rear tail and brake lamps (with resistors). The rear light assemblies were LED arrays from eBay for $110. Great deal.

Also resistor-ed and removed my city light bulbs. I could never figure out what to do with those things. To me they never looked right. Now its clean in front, just the low beams and fogs. (I still have the high beams when I need them)

As a bonus, I removed my third brake light housing and carefully trimmed away my tint around the third brake light for full light through the back window. I then painted the back cover area around the third brake light in a flat black so that the back of the window and rear deck look black. Very satisfied.

I had a bolt fall out of the rear chassis of my car. A big bolt. I had heard a clanking over speed bumps in the past six months but had inspected bushings and links and found nothing. Just kept driving. Once it fell out, driving on the street fortunately, I actually had difficulty steering the car since the right rear wheel and its entire upper suspension was "floating around". It was surreal. The car turned left on its own and I corrected by turning the steering wheel right but I had to hold it there to keep going straight. Then the car floated to the other side and I had to over compensate in the other direction. Once I started hearing the brake disc rubbing I stopped and saw a big bolt laying on the lower control arm. A tow and a new bolt with red-loctite at the shop and I was on the road. Weird. Mercedes got this car so right in so many ways, but I have never had a major bolt fall out of any car I have ever owned. Yikes!

That is scary. I'm glad you were able to get it stopped safely.

What exactly does the bolt secure?

Pretty sure they call it a rear axle carrier to subframe bolt.

Only thing to remember when splicing in resistors is they go across the two wires to the bulb, not in-line with one wire.
