Looks decent. I agree with the drop idea. It would look 10000x better. What wheels do you have now? How was the ride with those badboys on your Benzo?

I have stockies on until my new wheels arrive. I'll get some pics when they get here. As for the 20's, the car was a tad bit slower due to the bigger wheels, and I couldn't take the turns as fast, but overall not too bad. The ride quality was actually quite tolerable. My new wheels are 19's. So we will see how that goes...

I might be wrong but I thought bigger/wider wheels help in handling and cornering. Also I think the 20' HREs don't weigh more than the 18' stock wheels so I wonder why would the car be slower. I actually heard the wider wheels in the rear get better traction then the narrow ones which explains the reason why most drag racing cars use wide rear wheels.

Don't get me wrong, the wider wheels in the back DID help. I wasn't nearly spinning as much with the HRE's then my stockies. It's just that when I was on the freeway and wanted to give it a go, I did notice that my stockies picked up alot quicker then my 20's. Which is a given. But yes I do agree with what you said... :p

What size tires were you using? 25-series in the back?

overall diameter of the wheels w/the tires you had on were too large, that is why the car felt slower and reason ride wasn't that bad.made the 2.65 highway ratio even taller.proper fitment for 20' on w211 is 245/30 and 285/25.

What you say is true but I got these rims back in 03. They didn't have a 25 series tire then. I was probably the first person running 20's on a W211 E55. I had no choice but to run that size.
