I finally found the perfect flat hood emblem afterall. Bought one on ebay, ended up in the trash can cuz it was cheap. Went to the dealer hoping to find something decent but it looked like my previous purchase . Thanks to Mario, he hooked me up w/the emblem that is made out of metal and fits perfectly around the edges, very quality! Definitely a recommendation if anyone wants to go flat hood.

That's the one I have. To keep it from spinning, you can use a little GE silicon indoor/outdoor adhesive from Home Depot or the hardware store. I was able to keep from tightening the thing down so much that it cut the paint that way. Plus, it helps with deadening road vibration and ruining the adhesive.

I tightened it tight so it won't spin. Did you get it through Mario as well? I'm a happy camper right now.

mario hooked me up as well.
expensive but clearly worth it, as with most things
you pay for what you get.

I actually got mine from Taiwan. It is the same one though. I just didn't want to risk the badge holder cutting into the point or pressing in the paint and crushing it. That was all. Glad you like it, I think it is one of the cleanest mods available. That and doing away with side markers. It just lets your eyes focus on the lines more. The car looks much more raked with the hood emblem removing all that top side visual weight to the nose.
