How long is the current waiting list for CLS55?

I already posted on the CLS-board, but not enough viewers. Does anybody has an idea?

Fletcher Jones MB here in Vegas called me today to let me know they have a black 06 CLS55 on the showroom. Unfortunately, I want a Nov/Dec 05 delivery so I can order the sports package 030 option. So, if anyone is looking for a CLS55 right now, call Fletcher Jones MB in Vegas and ask for Rick.

Thank you, that's interesting! Me dealer told me, if I'm lucky I could get one in a year or so. What should I do? Get on the list now or look for a different dealer (would prefer the CLS55 over my ordered car - especially if the post about the option 033 is true...

Are you already on the list? Could I get a December delivery-spot as well if I would get on the list right now?

Thank you in advance for your answer!

The dealer in my area has a silver for immediate delivery. MB tends to give dealers extra allocation from time to time, so i would just try to call around. If you're willing to shop around, call around and I'm sure you'd be able to find one.

Thank you!

BTW, I was living in Ewa Beach before I moved to Florida (jobbed at the Hawaiian Prince Hotel - maybe you know that)....

Hey FloridaE55...

Awesome too see lots of mbworld members with Hawaii ties! Sure, I know the hotel really well, and play golf at the course down in Ewa!

If you're interested in the Silver CLS55, let me know. The car will sell for MSRP. There isn't many options on the car, i think just CD changer, lighting package, and parktronic.

Thank you for your answer! I printed out the complete list of dealers in my area and I will call them to see what they can do. An immediate delivery would be too early though :p

Maybe I can find a dealer with delivery between October and December because this new 030-option seems to be a "must-have" and it won't be available before that date. I hope my chances are higher to get a custom-ordered one in 6 to 8 months.

There are 3 things I'm happy I got rid of when I moved from Hawaii to Florida:

1. Tourist Prices at Foodland
2. Centipedes..
3. H-1 Freeway at business hours..

Walk in and walk out w/ one here in SoCal. Better selection than w/ the E55's!

I was suppose to go in last week to put my deposit but got tied up with work so will do so this weekend. I am specifically looking for the Nov/Dec 05 delivery date to take advantage of two things: (1) availability of 030 sports package options and (2) the vehicle will be a 2007 model instead of a 2006 (according to my MB sales rep). The wait time for delivery is about 6-8 months.

Thanks! Seems to me that we both want the same 6-8 month would be O.K., so according to your dealer, there is a chance to get this car earlier than in a year or so.

Sounds strange that a November 2005 delivery might already be a MY2007 But nobody knows...

I don't understand why there is already so much info about the upcoming uptions for the CLS taking into consideration that neither my dealer nor MBUSA are able to tell me what I can expect in the 2006 E55. Everything unknown - no prices, no options etc.? The launch of the 2006 E55 is not so far away, IMO

I'm in the same boat waiting for a CLS55 for end of this year delivery. Someone please tell me what this sports package 030 is comprised of..

Where did you hear about it? What will it cost? Any info will be GREATLY appreciated.

This really can’t happen. A designated model year in the US can include only one Jan 1st. So a car manufactured in 2005 can be either a 2005 or 2006.
