My car pays for itself...
as some know i own an appraisal and brokerage biz. so im on a listing appointment and getting the once over from the husband. after answering questions on why im the man for 45 minutes the wife says, "how do we know youre not making some of this stuff up?" before i could answer the husband says, "damn honey, didnt you see what kind of car he drove up in?" she walks over to the window, looks outside and says, "oh, sorry" listing signed!

i think what he means to say is that the car really helps seal the deal.
i know cuz it helps my buisness a lot. It's really not hte car, it's projection of success that they are looking at. You can dress professional and present yourself in that manner as well.

In my business I deal with major national grocery Chain Store buyers and always borrow one of my kids' cars for an appointment, just in case "the green-eyed monster" raises its ugly head!

yeah, you gotta back you sh$$ up though, which fortunately i do. funny though if i showed up to do an appraisal, which im in the house for 5 minutes then get a check for 325 AND see the car i get the, "nice racket youre in" or "how do i become an appraiser" like they dont see all the other work that has to be done.
