I am using Picasa2.
Open a picture, you'll see it in the picture tray.
Nearby at the bottom is a series of 7 buttons. Print, e-mail, collage, hello, blog this, order prints, and export.
Hit the export button.
This will open a dialog box entitled Export to Folder.
Pick a folder to save your picture and under image size options resize to however many pixels you want.
Select OK and your done.
