Anyone know whether we can retrofit the new SL55 or SL65 shift paddles in exchange for our clumsy buttons ?

i like to ride my bike
I would also say it is possible as you see in the first pic the steering wheel
is the same and the paddles are just fitted there where the old ones were.

It is the same hole in the back of the steering wheel - so these flaps will fit as well HOWEVER there is a difference in gearhift buttons electronics throughout the years (2003 gear shift buttons are not compatible with 2005 cars and vice versa for example)...

Well, I know for sure the "NEW" Brabus wheel has these paddles on their E55/CLS wheel.. spendy though... but Brabus is spendy anyways.... I would to upgrade my wheel a bit cheaper though...

Hell Yeah!!!
One of my former cars was a Maserati cambiocorsa and the paddles were 1000% better than the buttons we have. Count me in for a 2004. If the electronics are a problem, maybe the paddles can be attached on top of the buttons. Just my 2cents .

Hi!
Anyone working on this? Carbon Fiber Anyone? I don't think this would be that complicated and it would be a great improvement.
Best regards
