Dubs are not recommended for any W210 E-Class. It is possible but you may need to buy custom built forged rims usually prices well over $1k each. Without the proper offset the tires will rub inside - See this I just posted today about offset:

https://mbworld.org/forums/wheels-tires-suspension-brakes-forum/139356-2000-e55-custom-wheel-tire-sizes.html

You would need a tire size of something like:

Front/all
235/30/20
245/30/20

Rear
265/25/20
275/25/20
285/25/20

You will need to find these rims sizes for the front:

20x8.0 with offset around et31 using 245 front tire
20x8.5 with offset around et25 using 245 front tire

Good Luck in finding those size.

I see

Thanks for the good info!

quick qestion tho- with all this 235 up front on a 20x8 will it still rub if i use the H@R's?

i have looked for people who run this set up and i can never tell if they are 19"s with a real slam or just a 20" rim on stock suspension.
are there any pictures or other member running 20"s?

i just don't want to spend a decent amount of money and then have the tires rub.

thanks

we use 19s around here! lol i know that a 245/30/20, is the same hieght as a 245/35/19. as for the back i never could find a 275/25/20 but i do know that pirelli makes a 285/25/20. they also make the 245/30/20. those tires is the only way you could do it right, or you would look like a 4x4....

Don't put 20's on a w210. It requires modification to the front fender well for it to fit correctly. I've seen it done on 2 w210's. Both times, it took a while for the body shop to get it right.

Just stick with 19's.. or buy a w211 and get 20's on that.

jl88, were those cars E55's? Plus, are you referring to rolling the fender lip? The fender lip on the E55 is already rolled. I think 20's are too big for W210 I would not have made the recommendation for the 245 width front tires for a non AMG car. So, further body mods may not be needed.

i have a set of 20 inch lowenharts in the garage i had on my non amg 210. I used 225/35/20 and never rolled my fenders. I never had any issues with my tires rubbing fenders either.

You would have if you tried to run 245 width up front. Fender rolling is not needed going from the OEM 215 to 225 or perhaps 235.

I own a 96 e320 w210 model and I'm looking at a set of 20's as well but they're 8.5 wide and 40offset, I have no clue about fitment or nothing but I heard if I run the tire profile you run it will be okay as well. I just don't know about the widtch of the rim with the offset, is this a problem rubbing?

I don't mind driving slow over curbs or bumps, or for corners either but I'm just wondering if they'll fit and if so whats involved to make them fit?

Best Regards!
