Video in motion & MP3 enabled Command
I "discovered" an "engineers menu" in Command 2.0 and a hidden menu in the engineers menu which allows you to toggle off the video in motion block and a toggle to allow Command to play Mp3... also can change the DVD Region Code.
Have not tried it out but looks legit.
I bought the instructions and its got copyright ... I think I only infringe copyright if I sell the intructions ... I dont think I infringe it if I refer to it and credit the source... not sure maybe someone can help me out here.

Actually source is eBay !!! Maybe I been scammed but reputable seller and the instructions show pictures of the menus which look legit...
I am sure the chap wont mind me plugging eBay as the source ... there are maybe 20 sellers of this there - for $15 equivalent.

Yes and the hidden menu is #, * , left arrow. in that order and then all held down for a few seconds... it might be *, # but its either of those two alternatives ... dont have the damn thing with me now... changed it last night and worked 100% ....
I am actually thinking of changing it back - I think I might find myself having the odd peak now and then while driving ... but enabled MP3 and there is a bunch of other stuff that I have no clue what it does...

I put a bunch of MP3 files on CD's and discovered that they play in all 7 CD slots.. the in dash and all 6 slots of the changer. I didn't press anything!
But I have never tried to watch video on the screen. I wish the iPod interface supported the softkeys for navigating the iPod and displaying the artist, album, title. Does anyone know how to support this?

#_*_< gets the next layer. Has DVD region coding - mine was already set to 0. mp3 enable/disable - mine was enabled (from a previous software upgrade at the dealer). There is other stuff I dont understand so I didn't dare change it.
I wish someone could explain each subsection eg LCT etc.

Push and hold the buttons in order (holding all 3 down) for 5 seconds.

Try changing the order of the buttons - initially the intructions did not work with mine and I changed the sequence of the last three buttons and it popped up - I'll have an other look at the instructions and let you know.
Its a "ctrl-alt-del" type sequence - but you need to hold it down a while...

the order you published it in # * < worked for me.
its probably the speed and that you dont hold it long enough.
Also, its the tags for the buttons at the screens sides that change. The whole screen doesn't change.
