No dealer will unlock your tv/dvd in motion,as its technically against the law.
Im in the UKguys so i dont know were to send you but im sure there are plenty of companies that do these things for a living. Google tv in motion thats a good starting point.

 

After the update its practiaclly impossible through software - there is a hardware workaroudn though thats sold on ebay.

Afriend of mine Steve hooks his laptop up to a gadget called optican then hooks it up to the obd port and unlocks it, takes 10 seconds mate, he done it on mine.

 

I try put a cd with mp3s and nothing comand doen't recognized
The same with a dvd film(original), put it into and click at video button... The message "No video"

 

you seem to have two related problems - your 'slot' in the COMAND is a CD and not DVD player and you dont have mp3 enabled - sorry but you're back to square one.
Its likely that to do all this you need a new COMAND. Its worth talking to a tech at the dealer and see what they suggest. If its a new COMAND contact Steve MBNL (do a search). He's also a very good source of information and does software upgrades (I think).

 

But it reads dvd navigation... So I think it haves a dvd reader...

hey guys... i have a CLS55 AMG, one of the very last to leave the factory (manufactured in june 2006), and i cant get the engineering menu to work.. The car has been to the dealer but no software updates have (AFAIK) been done to it.. Do you reckon it came with the new software straight out of the factory???

You have an old style COMAND if the slot takes navigation DVDs. The Es have the nav reader in the trunk. I think you will need expert advice - Steve MBNL will help.

I have a E class from 2002 (W211) and i cant go to the engeneering menu.
i press on MUTE+END CALL+SERV.
I tryed on my father's car (R class) and it works.
Is my firmware too old ? is there any other solution ??

my Euro comand doesnt work as well. i try gettin into engineering mode and no luck at all. tried several times yesterday as well as today. I know my car is an '07, but i switched my comand from US to Euro from a previous W211 model. any help guys?

 

What year car did the euro comand come off, ?? if its 04+ most likely its had latest software installed thats why EM is disabled.

 

im 95% sure its 04+ but the thing is that when the comand was in his car the DVDs were working

 

alright guys i need some help. i have a 2003 E500 production date sep 03 (i believe) and i get into the enginnering mode but no button config will work. the sw vers. HU says 15/2003 generated at Thu Apr 10.
i used the 357 serv technique and am running on the ECE mode of W211. can anybody help me to get the secret menu. thanks.

hey guys i wanted to know, my uncle has a 2007 cls63 and we cant get anything to come up. i used the 3-5-7 serv but nothing and then when i tried mute-end-serv it just goes to the regular service menu. anybody help me please
