DON'T DO IT IF YOU HAVE A ECU TUNE!!! I have done this twice now in the past year with different tunes and both times it reset my tune back to crap mode. Took over 100 miles or so to get it back to beast mode. It is a fact...

Who knows what it is really doing with a 7 speed. Be careful with that.

A couple people said that after the reset it leaves their car unstable? Is this supposed to occur? Also, when you wait the 2 minutes you can leave the car right?

I am not sure if I had it in the correct 1.) on position. Is the on position ment to be the first click to the right or second click?
I think I tried both options, but both times I had opened the door - could that have any impact?

I notice something weird with the ecu reset....one most notibly shifting from 4th to 5th at WOT. It usually shifts at 135mph, but with the ECU reset, it shifts at 140, but seems to have a fuel cuttoff feeling for about 2 seconds and then shifts.

Thanks for the tip! I just tried this with my G55K and wasn't able to feel any difference.

Second click. Just do what I do: Sit in the car, put the key in, go to second click, hold gas pedal down for 7ish seconds, turn key to "zero click" but don't take it out, then just sit there and listen to a CD for 3 minutes or so. Don't open the door.

Means you put your key in and turn it twice to the 2nd one and not the first one.
