6.3 engine potential! Check this out!
So i found this intresting article.

Expect about the same horsepower as the first generation with the new 6.3 litre V8 delivering between 580 and 600 hp.
So thats pretty much same base engine as e63, that means it does have potential for another 100 hp! Not bad!

Did i understand this correctly?? 
Mmmmmm, turbo. 
AMG Chief, Volker Mornhinweg said in an recent interview that they might give the new 6.3 liter engine turbo and the new CGI fuel injection technology, thus a perfect engine for the AMG CLK DTM.

Not really a surprise as AMG has worked on a 6 liter version of the new V8 with (I believe twin) turbo(s). It was cancelled at the time, but if they want to produce 600Hp without having to do 9000rpm they'll have to do forced induction. And the European pedestrian protection guidelines will probably void the idea of a supercharger under the bonnet.

I'm not quite sure about this, but does this mean AMG is producing a successor to the CLK DTM that will be able to meet demand? The previous CLK DTM were limited editions <100.

They are now producing what is supposed to be a limited production run of the CLK DTM cabriolet.
The timing of the production of this new coupe and the total number slated to be produced are unknown - as far as I know - at this point in time....
But we shall soon see(!)
