Looking for a 2006 E55 for sale

Hey folks,

I'm back looking for a late model (2006) E55 for sale, preferably with distronic and panoramic roof.

Does anyone have one for sale or can someone recommend a great broker. I'm already searching the usual suspects (ebay, cars.com, autotrader.com).

Thank you,

Darren

I'm looking for something in the high 60's to 70's. There seem to be many 2006 E55's for sale which have already started receiving the first year hit due to the E63's being out and that's the sweet spot for me.

Do you have someone I should speak with or a car I might consider?

Thank you,

Darren

Josh,

You're color options are first on my list and my favorite (although I am considering other color options to keep the selection wide). I only wish you had keyless go since that is a must have for me. I know I'm going to have a more difficult time finding distronic and may have to settle without it, but I really want the keyless go.

Thanks again,

Darren

This might be a stupid comment, but have you checked MBUSA site. they have listings of CPO'd and non CPO cars from MB dealerships all over the nation. Some of the prices are more reasonable than you'd expect.

Not stupid at all. In fact, that's what I spent last night doing. Great suggestion and you're right, they had lots of 2006 (and 2005) E55's at somewhat reasonable prices (still needed some negotiating of course).

Thank you,

Darren

Here's a No Reserve auction on a 2005 10K miles E55 that had an $86,900 MSRP. Looks like a real clean car. This would be a good gauge for what people are actually willing to pay for similar cars.

Rocket,

I've had keyless go in my last two AMG's and it's been very convenient. I keep the key in my pocket, hop in the car, hit the button and off I go. Just something I like in the car nowadays.

It's all about the little pleasures in life

Cheers,

Darren

My friend has a 06 bought 1 month ago with 1k miles on the clock, has the options you want and all stock with addition of clear bra he just had it done a week ago.

But his price is way higher since it's practicaly brand new. I'll ask him.

Wayne,

Check with him anyway and let's see where we can go. I can PM you my contact information so you can give it to him if that's easier.

Why does he want to get rid of it? Sounds like a perfect car for me.

Regards,

Darren

Derrick,

Hey man...good to hear from you. I traded in my 2004 E55 in November of last year about 5 months after I got my Kleemann mods completed.

Looking forward to being back in the E family again. My wife and I test drove a 2006 E55 (Pewter with 15k miles, distronic, parktronic, lighting package, nav, dynamic seats, and pano roof) this past weekend and fell back in love with the E55. She kept commenting on the space and how comfortable the seats were compared to the CLS55 we drove and my CL55 I have now. Plus the interior just felt so much roomier and the pano roof totally opened up the car on the inside. The two concerns I had about the car were:

1. mileage...would like less mileage on a 2006, but technically the car was put in service in 7/05 so it was right on the money at 1,000 miles/month.

2. the car had 2 chips in the paint on the driver side rear quarter panel above the rear wheel. I asked them to have a good detail guy look at it and see if it can be filled in and the paint blended and clearcoat sprayed back on in that area to make it look unnoticable.

We'll see. The search is on for me.

Thanks,

Darren
