Just trying to get the true word. If the timing can be advanced by about 6 degrees through STAR, then i could go ahead and do my mods and leave the ECU alone.

The only way I know to advance timing is to play with the fuel quality. There is no direct timing advance/retard screen.

And just to make sure this horse is dead, the US spec cars already come at the "best" fuel quality setting?
