Next mod...Shrick Cams?
Hey guys looking for feedback on Shrick Cams. Vrus airbox will not be available till next year, so I am on the hunt for some aggressive Cams. Vadim knows his crap and told me to get Shrick. Anyone know about these? I know they are a hit in BMW's.

I only heard positive with them. I had issues with pitting at 15K miles, but doubt it wa the cams. they come with a strong outer coat, but once you wear that out the rest goes fast.

05 ML-500 , 03 CLK5.5 AMG has left the Garage
Schrick Cams
Do a Search on Kleemann cams review , in the w-209.
I installed them on my 03 CLK 5.5 AMG That has a N/A motor. It found me 16.5 Hp @ the rearwheel. Expect more from a F/I motor.
They go right in , no fuss , spacers or gears!!. They bring the lobe line of center closer together . Stock is 116* . Schrick 114* The exhaust valve opens sooner & held open longer. Idle is smooth too . Here is the Schrick Part#
352 01 561 LO << Left/drivers side
352 01 561 RO << Right/ girls side

I would spend the money on a pully kit.The cams on the BMWs work well because we rev the crap out of our engines and they make the gains after 5k and shift the power band to the right and lose a little low end.

Uh... errrr... Ok, I will get a pulley kit. LOL Skratch, my car is 517 at the wheels right now, and I need to tune it to get the 20hp it's missing by running too rich. I already have evosport pulley's. This is an additional mod. Thank you for the advice.

Just trying to help out. I was about to do cams on my M3 and the gains from 5-7k wernt worth paying 1,500 for 10-15 crank hp

Before you spend the money on the Schrick cams talk to JSpeed.. I believe he has them on his 55K and said he didnt see much gain with them.. That's why I got the SLR cams instead.
