I'll post some tonight. It is mounted facing down up under the passenger leg area. It has knobs extended through the box so it can be adjusted on the fly.

another thing...did you have to extend the wire harness to mount it there or was it long enough?

It still raises the same abount that it did, just not to the same point that it did. If the car is lowered by ELM and I hit raise it simply saises up 2" or so. It does not raise to 2" above stock height.

I did not do the install, but the wires were long enough as is. The Airmatic module is under that floor board, so the wires just come around the corner. I plan to move the ELM into the arm rest and so a new harness is being made. I am also adding a true harness fitting onto the end so that it is plug and play in-line of the OEM module so that there is no need to splice. i will also replace the old OEM wiring at that time to clean it all up.

Thanks Jangy, I am lookig to see if I extend my harness if I can install in my armrest as well so I an just adjust any time. I am doing my own install so I will have to see how much work I want to put into this. Do you know if there is a reason the harness is so short? Does it need to be close to the factory box and if we extend the wires will the signal get weaker etc??

Jangy,

I thought you had La Jolla Audio moved the ELM module to the center console?

'03 G500, '13 G63, '17 GLS63,
How would you rate the ride quality with the ELM? Any difference from stock? Bouncier, etc.?

Nope, RENNTech didn't develop it to be a shift on the fly system. I wanted it that way and my original tuner went ahead and tried it and it worked (extending the knobs). You can definitely extend the harness. Just use nicely insulated wires so you don't get cross talk. You will need to remove the passenger seat to access the arm rest.

They are making the new harness and repairing the old wiring, but we stopped on install since I am mounting the rear dvd players, sub & amp, and video cameras in the front and rear bumpers.

Tighter with more grip (more negative camber). Definitely not bouncier. The beauty is that you can have a low ride and keep it in comfort mode so you don't get the teeth shatter ride. You can also go all out and go low and SII when the roads are fairly smooth. It really is a great tuning piece when used along with the OEM buttons.

Thanks bro. Again, i didn't do the install. I just had the idea and asked about it. I was hoping it was step 1 in getting a relationship going but you know how it is when you wake up and she just isn't quite as cute as the night before!!

It is the RENNTech ELM with the modified knobs. I tried talking to RENNTech about making the knobs a standard feature, but got blown off as from most people. I'm looking to see how we can get it for everyone.

The cost is about $1200 (introductory price) installed, depending on where and who you get it from.

They are powder coated. It was an experiment in color.

So does Renntech or Kleeman give the most drop?
