I agree with the logic. The closest MB dealership that is a RENNtech dealer is in the Houston area. I have talked to them and they say that the warranty will not be affected by the mods. I just wish there was one in the local area. There is, however, a Kleemann/MB dealership in Dallas. I might have a talk with them, but I think I would rather drive the 250 miles and go for the R.

HEHE!! I will be doing both, so I don't really care which is better. I am curious, however, on what gains can be had on exhaust. I don't just want more sound. I want more POWER. Especially low end, and I wonder how to get that.
Sleep tight.

LOL, I hear ya. You really expect that much from exhaust? I can see the headers, but that would only be a stage 3. Have you done the TB? That may be your bottle neck, and withwhat you've already done, it may almost be needed to really unleash the spirit within. The airbox would be "optional" from a gains perspective.
I'm assuming you are doing pre/post dynos, so do share!!
Either way, as long as you are stoked. Life is relative for us all. Very nice setup.

you have a good way with words bro. yes for sure before and after dynos. no TB yet as i like to do 1 thing at a time to see what each mod does. that will be next TB then if vrus has his air box i will do that. adam says 50hp/50tq with renn ECU update. im not just doin exhaust im doin the full system . long tube headers, 100 cell cats, resonator and mufflers.
Looks like we will have some slap happy folks on this forum in the next few weeks!!

you went from 416-453 HP, 445-492 ft-lb torque
https://mbworld.org/forums/w211-amg/166604-e55-dyno-today-renntech-1-install.html
tell u again how that translates to 557 HP, 605 ft-lb at the crank???

psk145,
renn suggests using 1.23 (23% drive train loss) for conversion from rwh/rwt to crank. their suggest as is stated on RENN website for stage pckgs for 55 & corresponding expected gains. my numbers slightly bettrr versus RENN claims esp based on fact that they posted numbers/graphs using 93 octane versus my CA 91 ocatne. Adam?
RENN site:
Dyno Notes:
Performance Package 1
Performance Package 2
Performance Package 3
Performance Package 4
Performance Package 5
Performance Package 6
All graphs show wheel horsepower and torque. To find crank horsepower and torque, multiply value by 1.23. This accounts for drivetrain losses.
Engine power output depends on many variable and thus values vary from car to car. Ambient temperature, altitude, engine mileage, as well as other factors can all have significant effects on engine output and dyno readings.
