Audio Upgrade suggestions?
i got an estimate of 1000 for complete box build to look integrated and only take up 1 foot of space from the back of the seats. Power would be a jl audio 500.1 and 10w1.

We're actually working on a sealth box as we speak for the 55, swing by and I'll show you what we'll have available for you guys. The box will be located flush on the passanger side in the rear cubby hole. We will also be working on a flush setup for two 10" or 12" subs.

Mint. I'll check it out when I drop by.

I would be interested as well mostly in a single 10. Are you looking to tap into the factory harness (in the trunk) to run the amp(s)? I remember talking to Dean (Scorchie) and he said they were working on tapping into the harness in the trunk so no tearing up of the interior was needed to get power and line in into the headunit. I mostly want more bass to fill the cabin. Ripping the whole system would be optimal but get leary about a shop taking it all apart.
thanks
mike

Here's a link to my cardomain, if you scroll down a bit you can see a few pics of my setup in the trunk. The are more pics of it on the second page. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2491637 I did everything myself with the help of a friend.
btw, all of that can be removed and put back to stock in a matter of 2 minutes. I took out the stock floor thats in the trunk, made my own, and then added the subs and everything else. If I need to carry something really heavy in the trunk, I can take the subs out and put it back to stock.

I also talked to "Scorchie" and the connectors to prevent splicing are more difficult to deal with than this approach. All that is necessary is to add these clips to the leads to the factory sub. (There a two sets of leads because it's a dual core sub that is connected to the headunit by a right and left output wire.)
