K1 VS Stock = 0?????
Just had K pulley installed on my '06 (finally), and the results were,,,,I'm going to say, strange. Evo did the resonator delete at the same time. I figure that makes about zero difference, just a touch more sound (I like it and it helps with the factory 72 mph "droning"). Bone stock down to the filters and it makes makes 10 RWHP more than any stock E55 ever dyno'd by Evo, 434.9/467.1 RW!! I lost power on the first 2 runs with the pulley, ultimately gaining about 2 RWHP and 20 lb/ft. I only had the pulley installed, and no ECU mods were done. I asked Cory before this was done and he confirmed that very little would be gained with software, maybe 5 hp. It's a little rich on top but how much of a difference could a ECU mod make?? Is it possible my ECU has decided this is the "limit" for my motor? It has had the latest flash updates and seemed completely un-affected, just as strong as always.

you got 434.9hp stock to the rear wheels? if so that is crazy i had 401hp and 447hp after renntech pully and ECU. ypu might be gettin lower numbers cuzz you engin is gettin hot. my numbers droped like crazy before i had the renn IC and heat exchanger put in. then i only droped like 8hp in 3 back to back runs.

I'm absolutely positive you will have some really good gains if you combine software with your pulley upgrade. The smaller diameter pulley will change the dynamics of your S/C and air intake system, something which - with the addition of software - your car will actually recognize and benefit from. Just my $0.02.

The graphs are stock for pulls 1 and 2. 3, 4, and 5 are after the pulley and resonator delete. That's all my car. Great power for a stocker, but no real gains either. It feels like it definitely picked up a step after the drive home, so maybe it's even more now. There was no time allowed for ECU adaptation so maybe that's the hot ticket. I guess I should be happy it was so strong to begin with. I wonder what Kleemann would say??
