Yes...but it won't work on anything deep. I have some of the stuff in the garage. You need to be really careful since it comes with its own cotton wheel to buff with. You mix the powder with water until its a paste consistency and keep the wheel moving. It gets the glass hot and on a windshield at least...you can crack the glass with heat. The stuff is called rhodium powder if I remember correctly. I have used it. Its a PITA, its messy but it works on LIGHT scratches. You can get it from restoration suppliers...Griots makes a liquid type glass polish too. Its not as good.

this might work for you
For fog lights, headlights that are slightly pitted or scratched and even discolored, the best technique to repair it is to get yourself a lil handheld torch and very very slowly and cautiously start to heat the glass up until you see it start to clear up or even smooth itself out, im not so certain it works on all types of glass and plastic, but i used that technique on my buddies e36 ///M3 years ago and it definately worked and looked as good as new.
I held it about 5 or so inches away from the area and slowly started to move it back and forth (left to right) until i saw improvement (started to clear up and look smoother) I learned this from my xgirlfriends father that does work for a body shop, hes a pinstripper. Guy has been around cars his whole life and worked in body shops just as long. hope this helps you guys out.
Note: i definately wouldn't try this on your windshield cause you will most certainly bloch the entire window up lol, but if you do please post pics lol.
