+1 ASP pulley more boost plus evo headers which imho is a better design than the renntech. I think vrus with evosport headers gave him 30 rwhp only. What I would like to see is a car like rflow or eballer again the Zo6. I think mix and match parts would yield more hp and better results.

I hear the next Vipers going to be even better. Good times to be a car guy.

well this is kind of hard to believe that the Z06 pulled that many cars on the 55, to be honest yeah the Z06 is fast but not that fast. ok well a stge 5 car is supposed to trap at what? ( 121-124)? and a Z06 traps what like 126 so thats a couple mph off this would make it a couple car diffence (2-3) not 10. Off the roll runs is all about trap speeds. i dont care what anyone says those Z06 are not running with bikes. maybe a 600cc with a ok rider but anything else will be a joke. I would love to take a shot at the Z06 with my evo. now is he is spraying like it looked like then we will have a good run on our hands.

Yeah I am running 19's and 20's but I do have the ELM and have had the fronts matched independently to the rears, but it would not matter if I were running 16's with drag slicks vs. the Z. Yes I do have the additional heat exchanger, my dyno numbers were posted on the vid and they are right in line with what Renntech advertises for the stage 5 kit. I was not very suprised running in both cars, but a 100 lb/tq is not that much more when my car weighs 1200 lbs more than the Z.
EVOVIIIYOU are you running 20s in the back and 19s in the front.
This will put you at a disadvantage..
Do you have an addditional heat exchnger.
I don't want to sound like the guys on another unnamed board so let me first say nice run to both of you guys. The Z06 is an exceptional car. I am just surprised at the number of car lengths that he was able to put on the RT Stage 5. Especially right off the jump. The RT stage 5 puts out 100 more Ib/tq.

I really am not one to say "I told you so" - but after all the bs I had to deal with in the last thread especially from EvilEmpire or whatever I think this video helps prove a little bit just how fast Z06s really are.
Now before everyone starts getting on my case about being a Z06 n*t swinger, that's not true. I've had many more MBs than Chevy's and I put a lot more miles on my E55 than I do my Z06. However, the Z06 is a 500hp 3100lb car my friends! That's the bottom line. I do think the E55 is capable of keeping up with a stock Z06 with the right mods but with our weight it's not easy.
I don't think there's really any shame in losing to a Z06 with a 4200lb luxury sedan. I also do think it's a little suspect how quickly the Z06 pulled away, but I don't think that even if everything was ideal the E55 would get pulled on.
Good races guys, I'm glad to see everyone remaining civil about this.

Quick game!
A family sedan designed for luxury and comfort fitted with an exceptionally powerful engine as well as components optimized for performance driving:
(a) Corvette C6 Z06
(b) Mercedes E55 AMG
A sports car from the ground up designed to go fast, go faster, and go very fast.
(a) Corvette C6 Z06
(b) Mercedes E55 AMG
As Marcus said, realize the classes and purposes of the two cars. What your E55s can do is already miiiighhtttyyy impressive.

Hey guys,
Do keep in mind that I do have lighter tires in the back, a filter, and a short throw shifter. Not much, but before all that, I ran an 11.5 with a best trap of 126 mph. Also, rememmber that the E55's sweet spot was not really utilized in this race. I am guaranteeing that from a dig, it would be much a better race. The Z06 is an extremely difficult car to hook up on the street, but the PS2's do help a bit. On the other hand, I don't think a lot of people understand how quick the Z06 is. At a recent event from the M5 Boards, a Z06 pulled ahead of an SLR and stayed ahead all the way to 160 mph. All the Z06 had was a filter and a tune. My car made 460 rwhp and weighed in at 3080 lbs with a half tank of gas. With a driver mod, this car is very hard to beat. Some of you can call BS, and that is ok with me, because I would do the same if I never drove the Z06.
All in all, I had a great time and I will be looking forward to more races to share with you guys. Now, if I only had the video of me and the Sl65 I raced from a roll..definitely a fast car..

A SC Viper is making 600 rwhp, and would absolutely destroy a Z06 and that M6.

Johns brother has a M5 but John wrecked it and its in the body shop. Eds "modded" M5 is also in the body shop. When they get em out we'll set it up. Biz said he can pull out the S65 Give me advance notice and I'll see if I can talk his dad into letting us take the Z06 out. I'll call you in a little bit.

It sure seems like it would have more power but the M cars make alot better use of their available hp due to that 7 speed F1 tranny of theirs. The gearing is also more agressive than the Z06 as well.

Ok, but how can you make logic of the M6 beating the SC Viper even from a lower roll, which it clearly was ahead of it throughout the entire race. So a intake/tuned C6 Z06 would beat a SC Viper?? Because the Z06 did beat that M6 which beat the SC Viper. It doesn't make sense, at all.
