I got a quick glimpse of a E 32 AMG this morning on I-285. Didn't get to see much else other than the rearbadging and the front end. It had a star in the grill and a flat hood emblem. I know there was a C32 AMG but never have seen an "E"

More than likely. He probably just dropped the 0 from his E320 and added the ever so popular AMG badging.

........You can have a genuine E32 AMG. He could have added an AMG V6 s/c from a C32. He could have done a C32 engine swap. I own a CLK32.

I bet this is the same car but you didn't state the colour. On the northside of 285, this past week, I took a photo of a white w124 sedan labeled E32 w. Kompressor on the pass. side, AMG wheels, a rear wing, twin round pipe aftermarket muffler and bad bodywork. It's at work so I'll have to post later but I'd bet it's a case of creative badging, especially since it's looks low budget.
Then I spied a Black w220 S600 AMG with the Ebay type twin dual hang low exhaust tips that from the side aren't connected to anything and chrome amg looking wheels (probably replicas from ebay too). It was getting off 400 N. at the Northridge exit. I believe it's the same one I've seen around Roswell too. No pic yet, but I'll try to have a camera ready since the posers are running rampant, and I like the entertainment. Maybe I'll hear if it's a V12 too.
When the fake stuff is spotted, you have to question all of it, i.e. is it even a 600 or a just "Ebay Edition AMG"? Do they have V12 sound clips and speakers in those tips to complete the sham?

i hate the posers. this week i saw at least 10 different "AMG" cars. 3 or 4 were w220 e32's then a saw a w221 e50 (wtf) and a few s55 AMG's (the 07 kind) and an M AMG Type S Honda CRX with a huge fart can. I feel like I live in compton after seeing this stuff. I think one of our dealers throws in the AMG badge for free or something like that because there is just too many going around.

Sorry mbenzman, this one was black and also had the low budget look. Kinda like the one who wears coach and Gucci but has no job. Now I wish I had taken the time to snap a pic but I was actually low flying aircraft at the moment.

I've seen a lot of posers, but I really don't know what you call this, maybe he's actually has a Kompressor on his engine. I didn't waste a lot of time on studying it, but I wouldn't refer to it as a "E32" without some label on the pass. side such as Renntech/AMG etc.. I just thought it looked bad and worth a laugh.
I took the picture last week in the parking deck at Northside Hospital Women's Center where my Wife was delivering our new daughter.

I'm not sure. But the side cladding and front bumper have been painted and no longer matches the rear original bumper (alto grey) color.

........just advocating for the devil. The guy might have a mosselman Kompressor in his W124. I don't think Renntech and brabus have s/c's for the W124. Mosselman does.

He may not be a poser, but it struck me as very odd, but you never know what's under the hood. He would have definitely crossed the poser line if he had, as so many have, added an AMG, Renntech, etc. to the pass. side. But still the "E32" could be construed as posing (tuner engine type designation) and also the "Kompressor" if he doesn't have one of some type centrifugal, screw or roots type, and not a turbo.
The stock M104 with a turbo, or supercharger of any type still wouldn't be an "E32", just an E320 kompressor or turbo, bi-turbo etc.. Easier done and far more believable. In europe there is also a e36 AMG W124 model which would also have been easier to swallow. Still until proven otherwise, it's probably badge engineering like Chappy said.
I don't buy into the add a couple AMG parts and an emblem and I'm not a poser. Even if a person took all the parts of a real AMG car and put them in another same shell, without the vin #, it's still a poser. the badge don't belong because the company has no record of that vin# being an AMG. It's not legit. If the company doesn't have any record of your car being modified into an AMG for example, than it's not so quit kidding yourself! If I take every amg part off an amg car and give the vin # to the dealer, Bank, D.O.T. or insurance company, they will ALL still insist it's an "AMG"! Is that a good definition?
Apparently, there is a twin in black, running around the same area. Maybe they are related. Was it a w124 also?

Yes, technically he could have swapped out his original engine & put in an AMG V6K, but chances are that he's a poser.

Not a Benz but comical. The RS6 badge on a wagon with a 2.8 quattro badge on the otherside. Unfortunately the picture doesn't show the rice coffee can exhaust.

edit: come to think of it, the amg badge, regardless of what side its placed on, adds an additional 7hp to any car...

Atlanta seems to be a mecca for the poser. Yesterday on 285 at perimeter mall I saw a beautiful SL 600 sunning itself on a gorgeous day. What's wrong with this picture? The guy slapped an AMG badge on it. A $130,000+ vehicle but he has to pose? No picture unfortunately.
