Non-Navi 2005, how hard/expensive is it to add Navi??

2005 E55, 2004 E55(sold), 2001 Viper GTS, 2006 Viper VOI9, 1994 ZR-1 Corvette 2009 Viper ACR,
Non-Navi 2005, how hard/expensive is it to add Navi??
Looking at a 2005 E55. Car is perfect except for the fact it does not have Navi.. How hard is it to add??? The big screen is there.. In fact, I thought it had Navi, until I pushed the button..
Is this just a module you can add or something?

Don't waste your $$ on the MB navi thinking you are going to get something fancy. It will be bare bones at best, no bells and whistles! You will be better off adding some after market unit.

I realized it was old but didn't notice it was fairly close to my join date....
Anyway I also don't need anyone telling me not to waste my money, etc.
I have had factory MB Nav in my old E55 and current E63 for about the last three years. So anyway it is more of a novelty thing I suppose, yet is important to me....

I briefly read it this evening (been up for 19 hours)
but I see you noted it cost less than 1k....
I assume that means buying at least the trunk-mounted DVD drive, can you give me a better estimate if I have all that Hardware (including wiring) ?
But the wiring may be too difficult to remove from current vehicle, so maybe I should just use new wiring/antenna/etc - any thoughts to that ?
