It was RayJ55 from this board. He and I met up with a few other M5 owners and did a few runs.
Hope everyone over here is doing well. I haven't forgot about you all and it's great to see what mods you guys are working on.
Keep up the great work.
Regards,
Darren

I'm just trying to keep up with you guys. I'm going to pull together a German car day at a local airstrip in DFW. I'm shooting for Labor Day weekend (weekend after next) so hopefully we can have some 55's and 63's along with some M's and P-cars all meet up and get some great high speed runs filmed in a safe setting.
Best Regards,
Darren

blah blah blah.....again with the roll on vids....blah blah blah.....not one from a dig.....blah blah blah.....
No excuses, it lost. A dig would be nice to see once and awhile though. You just play right into the M's strength going for those roll ons.
Nice vids. Loved the M's all against each other.

Yeah I liked that video too.. especially since it was my Silver Gray leading the pack. In all fairness Darren had an extra body in his trunk and when we added a passenger to mine he had the edge.

I bet it's not 100 degrees in Sweeden though.
I was in LA last weekend and even though it was 95 there it didn't feel nearly as hot there as 95 here. In fact 95 there was pleasant compated to Dallas where you just want to crawl into the shade and die. I can't even take the top down in the SLK it's so hot here, my skin would combust from the sun.

Thank you! Still nowhere near what you guys are working on with the heads, airbox, upgraded displacement projects over here.

Not much. It's 1am and 84 out still. You can still feel the heat, it's quite strong and hits you in the face if you open a door. The sun is gone though so you don't melt. The sun here is so amazingly strong, not like in LA or other parts.

Legit excuse!
We have seen the video('s) countless times so don't feed into the on a roll hype.
Modded E55 is plenty capable providing a IC pump, good clutch pack and no belt slip. I have personally never seen a E55 lose anything like that to an M5 yet. If there was a problem with the E55 then there go your results as seen in the vids.
There is no fear whatsoever racing these Moddded M5's vs Modded E55's from a roll! So I agree with Jay.
