AMG Rider Kleeman E55 AMG vs 996TT...........

SDS4's "very stong" 996TT with just chip and exhaust, an stock K16 Turbos (not K24's). Hard to see.....but on this one and only run, E55 pulls slightly in front from 2nd gear....but 996TT reels in and pulls in 4rth. Rematch to come

this 996TT is awd........for some reason or another, it is very very fast for just its simple mods. AMG Rider and I have ran many 996TT's with the same mods and always pulled easily. This one is prob a factory freak

Damn. Was it an X50? What kind of chip? I would have never thought top end the 996TT would have the advantage...if anything, the opposite because of the low weight which would help in the beginning and the awd which would hurt it up top...

We still appreciate the vid. Hopefully I get to see you guys tonight.

Sounds fishy to me...but, anythings possible. Could just be a freak like you said.

Your car was running good? Maybe slight heat sock?

Does it have headers ???

May its not AWD ??? If very simple to disconnect front drive shaft o9r something like this on 996TT and it becomes much faster on TOP cause, awd is not rubbing that much power at the TOP...

no headers and still AWD.....car is just a freak. There is 2 996TT's with chip and exhaust that have trapped mid 125's in the 1/4 mile over on 6speed. We believe this car might be similar to those two.....just damn fast on K16s

PS. When this car was stock (like 1 month ago).....it pulled easily on other stock 996TT's

When I had just headers and e-race dynoed 535HP....I raced 2002 996TT with Obsolute chip and Renspeed exhausts but auto and I catched up with him from the dig and slowly pulled away and rolling start he had no chance it was easy...

yea....i hear that. Some cars are just faster than others......this one seems like on of those. SleeperX can attest to this.....he ran this same 996TT when he only had a Chip

When the weather cools down a bit, Josh (DragonAMG) and I will give it a go with his 996TT. He wants to go now but I'm stalling. Can you say, "Gustav." J/K Josh.
