Just posting for future searchers.
Jerks at putfile.com took my other one off on TOS. Whatever. Like I am instructing people how to kill or something.
Here's how to get your car into dyno mode. Works for E55's but not sure about other models. I think some are a little different here and there.

What is the difference between this method, and just turning off the ESP?Originally Posted by Jrocket

pressing the esp off button doesn't completely disengage esp...it's still on, just at a much more lenient setting. dyno mode completely disables it.Originally Posted by MTG BRKR

i wouldn't bother running in dyno mode unless track prep is above average and you don't have to worry about wheel spin or you need to do a looooong burnout to heat up certain types of drag radials (like the mickey t's). i guess it'a also good for artwork in empty parking lots.

in many cases the ecu won't allow prolonged driving in dyno mode. it will lock the transmission and prevent it from shifting until you shut off dyno mode.Originally Posted by ErikGreen

i said..."in many cases"...not all cases. there are plenty of people (including myself) that have had their transmission stick in one gear while trying to drive in dyno mode for prolonged periods. ymmv.Originally Posted by Schiznick

Either way I will report my findings. If it lets me slang it all around, I will video my dumb *** playing with it. I'll just hit Las Vegas Blvd. and swoop a couple hotties for my camera crew. Originally Posted by chiromikey
