$1,500 doesn't seem unreasonable if this is such a great upgrade. I hate not being able to pull out into traffic because I'm afraid I'm going to lose traction...its the one thing I miss of my Audi.

If this will help minimize that ...wow. But I'd need an installer in the Bay Area, CA.

Quaife Distributors
Should give us a list of installers and also how many installs they have done on which cars.

I'm sure this would increase sales ... I know my biggest concern is the installer. I want someone that has done this install many times before.

There are many shops, both in Nor Cal and in So Cal that pop these puppies in all the time. Rear end work is not uncommon. You are asking the right questions (how many have they done, etc.). Any shop may claim they can do it. I would personally call the US distributor (which happens to be in SoCal) and ask whom they recommend. I plan to have mine installed there, if possible.

Here's the deal for 101 Motoring. We are looking for 10 units (E55 and E63) at either $1200 each OR $1500 installed. If you can, let me know. If not, sorry but we already have two potential sponsors that may be willing to do it.

Any NY,NJ,CT recommended installers for QUAIFE LSD?
this $1200 Quaife LSD group buy is great if I could find a place to trust to do the installation and at a reasonable cost.
any tips would be appreciated.

$1500 installed will never happen your not even close. you have to take the whole damm car apart to put in the LSD. good luck though.

I'll lock down a price tomorrow, but I'm going to have to assume we will have 5 people. If I can get them to commit to the $1200 or even $1250 price, we have to have 5 people to make it worth their time.

Ok guys. I am working on a package deal. Sort of a multi-team trade, so to speak. Since many of us are wanting various things, I am seeing if we can get a great price on all. Each of you may participate in one or more items. I am getting ALL!!
I will get a price on these tomorrow.

Sorry, guys. Here is the deal. It looks like I will get them through the uS distributor. The thing is that the overseas folks may not get the best of deals, once shipping and customs (if any) are added in, so you decide on that. I can try to see if the US distributor will talk to the UK home to get the folks in that area.
I have not been able to get them for $1200 or even $1250. I think I can get them for $1300, though. That would be drop shipped to you. Up to you all if we do this now or wait. There just doesn't seem to be much to save on these. The issue is going to be install. I am getting mine done there. They are in SoCal, somewhere. Maybe if enough of us get in, they will cut a deal on that, too?

i'm in if we can do this now. if not, the savings isn't enough for me to wait and i'll just buy one on my own.

so if this is a go let me know who to send my money to.

I'll get a final date for you on Monday. Do you already have a source? Ask them if they will do it for that price. I don't care who we get it from, this is just the best I have found until now.
