What is the most amazing is the top end. Sitting at 75 in third gear and just going through 3rd is sooooo sweet. It NEVER did that before.
Adam: Where you at, bro. We need to have this head to head soon. is psuball's car gonna be done anytime soon? I want to put the tune to the test before I go on and get TB, etc.

It must have been tough for them to see a $250K car get slapped around by a little ole' Merc..

What is speedworld? I don't keep up with 1/4 mile tracking. I just rely on my 63 brothers. Heck, they bring the lounge chairs and lots of ice. All I need is a drink and an umbrella.
I'll go anywhere that is reasonable to drive to go head to head with similar setups. I mainly want to complete the tuning parameters. I have a feeling Vadim will be riding shotgun and gathering even more data. I'm still waiting on Adam to throw out a Pulley + tune car for me to run. the other tuners won't even hang.

1) Now that Powerchip seems to have found the load-limiter code in the ECU and manipulate it, will they be able to do the same (locate and manipulate the load-limiter) for other AMG models, such as, the C32 and E63

2) Is this this specific tune based on 91 octane or 93 or 100?
3) Will this tune be sufficient if someone has pulley + headers or will this tune have to be changed once headers are added.
Jangy, congrats on your new tune man, you need to come with us to the track and really test it out
I am in a bit of quandary which way to go and which would be most beneficial. I have K2 (pulley, flash, and headers) but will have the VRP airbox, python tubes, cams, tuned heads, and I/C upgrade. I could go back to Kleeman for a reflash which would be less expensive, but going with you guys may yield a better overall result. I'm just thinking out loud...all these mods don't mean diddly without a clean ECU tune to tie everything together.

Nah, just messing. I actually am still waiting on the other tuners (especially Adam / EVOtech) to throw up a car for us to test against.
I'm telling you guys Vadim knows his crap and has a great working relationship with powerchip. NOBODY has put in this kind of effort into such a convoluted puzzle. arly on, he could have simply popped on the pulley then the ecu and say ok you gained 40hp, go away. He wasn't happy with that. Again, it isn't about peak power. The tune is at all bandwidths and in all three shift modes.
Lets get this race over with so I can move on to my TB and headers, like a good boy should.

I wish we had a track day to attend. Everyone seems to be bailing on Sacramento, Fontana is over and Speedworld is 5 hours away. Irwindale is every Thursday but it is only 1/8th mile.Its great that you can be hands on and see the progress, wonder how much you have picked up??
My times improved 1/10th adding the pulley, moving the IAT sensor, and adding the spacers. from 12.40's to 12.30's trap speeds are yup maybe 1/2 mph.
