Injector flow rates Kompressor V/S N/A

I thought I would post some Fuel Injector flow Charts ,I've had done lately. This will give some of you guys the opportunity to compair flow rate Between The 5.5 Kompressor ( Black color injector ) & the 5.5 N/A (White color injector ) . It appears that the Black injector flow about 30% more. The spray pattern at low speed is very directional, on both types. To get lbs per hr flow. Try Milliliters X 0.03381 = Fluid Ounces ?

Interesting, Sounds like a certain CLK 55 is getting black injectors.

Perhaps I am mis-reading...but doesn't he have a 55 motor and would already have the black injectors?

EDIT: Sorry, I now see he has the CLK55 which is NA....everything makes sense now.

Wow Patrick. You are the man when it comes to research and development on these cars. I asked about putting the 55k injectors in my car a while ago and people told me it wouldnt work Do you need to get a special tune? Will the bigger injectors work with the current fpr which raises fuel pressure with boost? When will your BEAST be up and running?

If you have the green top injectors(42lbs)bosch, Ahmad you may possibly be able to use the black top without tuning but don't take that as Gospel. You would have to monitor the A/F ratio and if the car is running too rich you'd have to get the ECU reprogrammed. Mike and Alex put bigger inj's in their SL500's but also had the car tuned to use them.

Both NA 55 and Kompressor 55s use EV-6 style Bosch injector. The difference is in how much fuel they flow.

The color is also an indicator of how many lbs the injector is. The type was not so much the issue.
