Hmmm....... this thread, although is very entertaining, has been deveating more and more off topic than it originally was in the first place. I think at this point, only Jangy can successfully conclude it since it was supposedly about a race between his car vs a specific Z06. Jangy, whenever you and the other driver get a chance to meet up again, record it on HD video to put all these minds at ease

I think it's staying OT (on topic) for the most part. The race between Zilicious and JRCart should be very telling.

What? You can't say and expect to win anything.. it's almost as stupid as being a bench racer.
Want me to settle this?
OK.
Here we go.
Z and E55 both take off from a roll, a dig, a diving board, whatever.
They stay neck and neck.. then the Z turns right and the E55 plows in to a ditch.
This is the worst thread evar. They are 2 entirely different cars. One's an auto, one's a manual.. One is luxury, one is made from left over impala parts..
What's the point in comparing? If you want to go all crazy, a $10k fox body will whack both in a straight line.. so what?
PS. It's all driver in the Z. Car for car, the Z will whack an E55.
Let it go.

How is it a bluff? I need the money. 10 car lenghts? And, we haven't even talked about details? AND its a road race? Why wouldn't I bet? Why don't you call my bluff? I have a cousin with a Z06. We'll send you a response just after the race, O.K.?

Ahh, an owner willing to race!! That is what I want to see...![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
What are you doing this weekend (May 31st, June 1st)? I am in Grand Blanc, MI. Where are you located exactly? I am willing to meet half way and make some recorded runs. I would rather do it on the track, but, since this original race originated from a roll, I would like to duplicate it and therefore, go from a roll. I will be on street tires so it would be great if you can be on the same.
I will have a passenger with me so if you could have one also to make things fair, that would be great. What do you say?
50/55/60 - xxx mph is OK with me. Let me know your schedule and lets do this!!...![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
EDIT:
Naperville, IL is about 310 miles away from Grand Blanc (City I live in). So, if you are willing to drive 150 miles (apprx. half way), I will be more than willing to drive the other 150 miles to meet up. Let me know.

Does the Grand Rapids area work for you?

Normally I would jump right on the offer for meeting this weekend, however I had my car at Road America last weekend and warped both the front rotors and the car is not drivable. I ordered a new set, but they are coming from Germany, If they get here by Friday I'm in, but they are telling me not to expect them before early next week. Next weekend I will be in Vegas, possibly the weekend after that we can meet up. I can bring a passenger as well. I have a few more goddies going on the car as we speak and quite a few un-needed goodies coming off for weight savings. Better bring your "A" game if you want to do roll-ons, this thing pulls to over 200 mph pretty easily. I would think you would stand a much better shot with a real heads-up drag race, I can't hook up on street tires to save my life, but we'll see, no use on specualting at this point.

What roll do you want to go from? I am easy to work with and compromise. I can do 45 (prefer not to) 50/55/60/65 - 140/150/160.
Grand Rapids will work for me. Shoot me a PM when you are ready and we can have some fun. I will have a passenger with me with a video camera. I will be looking forward to your PM in a few weeks..

I dunno man...be careful, it's risky...clearly the car with less hp and more weight will be the winner

Who said anything about less hp???? You know what they say when one "assumes"...Let's just say I would not be driving 170 miles with a tank full of $11.00 a gallon race fuel to lose.

It's all good, I love racing - win or lose. So, once again, I will be looking forward to your PM's and meeting you for our race.
P.S.- Please let me know from what roll to what roll you want to race.
