Not exactly sure of his parts list, It's white, its got a Hamann wide body, ECU tune (not sure who), intake work, headers, no cats, AC Schnitzer mufflers, AC Schnitzer Calipers 20 inch HRE's. It's fast, it can hang pretty close with my car on a straight, but I still pull him a little. He is no challenge in the turns for me, the car needs some attention in the suspension department. It's just a cool looking car that turns a lot of heads.

ECU on the M6 raises rev limiter to 8,500 which is insane on a 5liter production lump. I'm assuming he has pulleys which he'll need to get over the poor decision of a wide body conversion.
Glad this thread has recovered, Cart v Zlicious should be a great run.

It will not keep up with an M6/BS/Z06 on the highway though, not even close. Good track car though.

As for the M6, the wide body was done strictly for looks, and it does look good. I think I talked another guy to make the drive with us, he has a very fast, fully track prepped Acura NSX, turbos, hand built engine awesome car. I am still waiting to line up with his car, everytime we run into one another one of us is not driving the right car.

Yes, the R8 is pretty slow (you know what I mean), he got beat in a drag race by a stock C5 Corvette. It is a very pretty car and turns lots of heads. He is going to be doing some stuff to it, but there is not a lot out there yet.

Sorry, only speaking out of jealousy.
How long do I have to wait for this race to go down btw? Love seeing 2 guys do the talking and actually following through!

I hope we can find an open stretch where we can get some good runs in. I don't know that area very well but I am sure we will find somewhere that is safe and not congested with traffic.
The R8 losing to a stock C5 is definitely a surprise. A C5 only traps around 108 MPH, and I thought the R8 was faster than that.

Interesting thread none the less, I just got caught up. My name is Dil and I am a friend of Zlicious (Fadi), I can't wait for this race to go down! I will be joining Fadi on the drive up to GR, I am brining my TT 350Z.
Looking forward to meeting you guys and running some cars![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

Hence this entire thread/discussion, on any given day a car might beat a car that in reality it should not be able to beat. R8 is not very fast, considering it is a $125,000 car it's performance is not up to par with other cars in it's price range. I watched a couple of Porsche Boxster S's beat up on an R8 on the track (Road America)all day, however I asssume that was all driving skill.

Damn that VQ responds nice to boost! Sorry to be very offtopic everyone, but how much did it cost to build the engine internally? How much was it for the twin turbo setup (everything included, plus labor)? My friend just got a 350z and he wants to run a TT setup, but he's not sure about pricing and if he can afford to get the engine built for higher boost levels, or if he should just get the kit installed and run it on low boost. Thanks a lot buddy! Beautiful car; I can never get tired of a 350ZTT, def one of my favs! ![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)

Have your buddy call the shop and tell them that Dilsher sent him, he will be in good hands.

If your friend were to do a full build its gonna run around 25-30k+ depending on what he does.

June 14th looks OK. But if we are going to do it on the 14th, I will have to be back that night because of father's day the next day, meaning we will probably have to meet sometime around noon on the 14th. That will give us some time to meet, eat, race, and then drive back home. If it were any other day, I would have made a day out of it and hung out and probably stayed at some hotel.
