Your Opinions...

They are very different cars for different purposes.

CLK63 BS vs 997 TT vs AM Vantage V8....

Which one would you choose since they are roughly the same price...

Just curious to know your opinions.

Me, I think I'd take the CLK63 BS...

easy...the aston. and with looks like that i couldn't care less that it's the worst "performer" out of the bunch. and there's no lesser models that look like it, unlike the mb or p-car.

AMV8 will get V12 powerplant soon so I'd pass on the AMV8 but V12 could be interesting. Good looker and sounds gr8, but that N/A V8 is all bark and no bite.

So for me its CLK Black v 997TT... dunno how these black series are going to hold up in value and what they are like as a quasi track car... Guess time will tell. P-cars are great for this and immensely modable plus you have AWD. V limited lugagge space in P-Car (esp if you have the bose sound sytem) - POS in my opinion and yes a waste of space. I'd much have a larger gas tank for better range.... but I digress.

So, for me, P-Car.

I would stay away from the AM. I have a buddy that has one and really regrets it, The V8 is just not the same and as others have said the cost of ownership is just to high not to mention if you think the CLKBS has some depreciation AM has a pretty bad past history as well with all modles. It was compromised to much to hit a price point. Still looks good though.

I have had a 996TT and they are great and would make a much better daily driver then the rest, but I love the BS and that would be my choice. Something about that car just dose it for me?

997TT. Great out the box and the most tuneable.

Vantage is too slow, 380bhp and even when tuned it only give 420bhp. Sounds great though.

CLK63BS- if it was a non-slushbox and came tuned to say 550bhp to offset the weight it'd be a great car. Alas, it is not. That's why one member has spent thousands on it trying to make it what MB would have from the start.

By the way, I'd take the 997GT3 ahead of all of them.

Agree 99%

997TT with coilovers and some BPU work. Apparently the stock suspension just isn't up to snuff.

BPU's and you got almost 600 crank hp on the Turbo... BS is a close second- IMO

997TT out of that group. That being said, just do a Vic and get an M6 to partner the Turbo.

AMG's are not going to hold its value, Aston is a service manager's college fund for the kids.
