Valentine1 Radar / Laser Detector??

Anyone using this? Feedback from friends and family is the best one out there. Looking to pull the trigger on something as I play with fire daily.

I just finished reading post #42 in the following thread https://mbworld.org/forums/c32-amg-c55-amg-w203/243162-best-place-purchase-v1-detector.html
Pretty detailed writeup.

I've never owned a detector before, but a hardwired V1 came with my E63. I've had it for a little over a month and it's saved me at least twice The arrows are very useful.

I'd suggest a separate lasesr jammer - The V1 (I have one btw) is a laser "detector". Usually by the time it detects, you're toast.

I was just about to start a thread called "what do you use for protection", which I thought would get a couple of giggles just for the title.

I have a Passport 8500, which has also saved me several times.

It's also detected the laser too late one time, but I showed up to contest the ticket, cop didn't, and so was dismissed.

I have been thinking about jammers, and saw that Passport makes a jammer called the "Shifter ZR4" that somehow hooks up to the 8500. I haven't done much research on this yet. Any opinions on a good jammer?

The K40 is an overpriced POS with marginal radar detection that failed to jam any lidar guns used by the police.

If you want the best laser jammer, get the Laser Interceptor, LPP, or AL.

Laser Interceptor:

LPP:

AL:

Your best bet would be to wait until the Guysoflidar.com tests the Cheetah P.A.S.S. laser jammer because it is completely waterproof, has excellent customer service, and it will be cheaper than any of the top laser jammers listed above. The Cheetah P.A.S.S. link might not work below because they are still updating their website with the new information.

This is a video of it being tested underwater to make sure that it is waterproof.

I agree, V1 rocks. I also have a few friends running the Blinder M45 Laser jammers, all of which swear by them. I would get them, but there is not a huge police laser issue in my area, and I haven't figured out a way to hide the black modules on my silver car either.
