He's barking about invasion of privacy now, just wait until we find out his name. That's when the fun will begin.
I know all the corporate counsel at DHL as I interned with them 3 years ago when I was in law school. I will contact them on Tuesday and notify them about the fraudulent transactions that have taken place.

I'm impressed, you guys are good. Has anyone taken any of this to the authorities? Every police department now has a cyber crimes department, I'm sure they would love to get there hands on this one. Some geeky cop sitting behind a computer, I'm sure they live for this stuff. I actually think this falls under a Federal violation since a computer was used and its over state lines. I'm sure they have bigger fish to fry, but who knows how many people this guy has ripped off over the years? DHL can get him for slander and defimation, the credit card companies can file fraud charges...this guy is gonna do some time.

Looks like he's working every possible scam angle, and we've only touched on the ones that have happened here.
And now we've managed to confirm his ebay username
as "retailatwholesaledirect". Likely he's had others.
He seems to have a great deal of experience in these matters.
Most likely he has a zillion feelers all over the net, scamming people from
any and all sources.
We're not talking one count here.
Probably hundreds, from any and all types of forums, ebay, craigslist, whatever works.
All operating from his 4 warehouses, yeh right.

Well we have warehouses in California, NY, Mass, DC, and Miami. Everything ships directly from the warehouses. We dont do local pickup. I would have to call a shop manager first to see if they will alow for someone to meet there for a pickup. Otherwise UPS will pick items up and deliver them to you. "

In case anyone doesn't know, a "verified" account must have the address that the statement on the credit card the same as the one you register with paypal, and they do a little credit check thing.
If someone were to send him any sum of money his complete address would come up, but then he'd also have yours. This might be a job for the law.
Obviously I did not complete this transaction.

Do not fall for that so-called "plea" bargain. This nitwit needs a lesson behind bars! It needs to be on record, his criminal record which he'll regret forever. Boy do I wish this is in my jurisdiction! As an MB enthusiast, nothing would please me more than to help a fellow member get justice as well as prosecuting this idiot. The local authorities need to throw the book at him so he can be indicted on as many counts as possible... From local, state, to federal charges.

Did I miss anything? It's like a 100ft wave, you can run but it will still get you. The internet is an open book, and all can be linked back to you. Any other help I can give let me know.

"Your #1 Source For New And Used Auto Parts" ... Probably stolen parts, by the looks of this guys track record. Everything he is selling is virtually untraceable. Wheels, tires, body panels. If the feds get involved they are going to make him produce VINS for all of these cars he supposedly got the stock parts from. A few years ago there was a motorcycle shop here in the Chicago area that got raided by the feds, it just so happens that they where stealing motorcycles, storing and stripping them in their "legit" motorcycle dealership and selling of the parts on line. Somehow the feds caught up with them and shut them down because they had this huge inventory of motorcycle parts but could not show where they all came from. It does not take a genius to be able to read between the lines.

Dirt bags like this will file charges against you or slap you with a law suite so fast you head will spin. You have to be smarter than this guy, you don't have to stoop quite to his level to be able to teach him a lesson. JUST BE CAREFUL.

Thats a good point! However, disclosure of any public information (i.e. criminal records, property ownership, business/corporate information) is entirely legal. Disclosure of his personal information like bank accounts or residential addresses may get a little hairy.
My conversation via ebay, went to the effect, that since he had no feedback, would they do a local pickup? The response I got was the one about the warehouses.
I asked, well so you guys are an established company that's just new to ebay? Whats the name of the company? Where's it based?
What state are you incorporated so I can verify you?
He said they were a company that got parts through junkyards, or something, so I asked if they were incorporated and what state, etc. He said, no they weren't incorporated (but managed to have "warehouses" in 4 seperate states). The national non-corp status seemed very fishy.
That and 4 warehouses, and he had like 4 items on ebay.
At no point did he use his name or give any more info.
I told him if my other deal didn't work out, the only way I'd do biz was COD, and that was the last i heard.
