How long do your tires last ?

It would be very helpful if everyone posted the brand of tire with how many miles they get from a set.

EXAMPLE: Pzero rosso, miles: 30k front tires, 24k rears.
rears were shot and the fronts still had 2k-4k left.

I got 12K on the OE Conti's. Rears were worse than fronts - but I wanted to change them all - the Conti's have to almost be overinflated to take out the sloppy handling.

Recently replaced with Michelin PS2s - and there is a NIGHT AND DAY differnce in handling. the stiffer sidewall of the Michelin's and better grip made ofr about 10 - 12 MPH improvement on my favorite on ramp.

I got good tread life on the Conti SP2 and SP3's but terrible grip. I love my Toyo R888's for grip but tread life is poor. Put them on a few weeks ago and hoping they last until after Nov 15's MIR track meet.

damn 24k in the rear?

i don't know about the e63, but on my allroad i put 15k on some ps2's and are now replacing them. on my 996tt i also had ps2's. the rears lasted 12k if i was lucky, the fronts were good for 18k or so. on my rs6, i had bridgestone reo50's. they lasted about 15k.

I'm at about 9k now and my stock Conti's in the rear are down to the wear bars, but the fronts still have plenty of meat.

yokohama es100s front and rear... rear is about average 8-10k miles and front last forever... have had 2 sets already, give it about a 6 out of 10, tractions isnt all that good and makes a lil road noise

Nitto 555 20k

Wear is fine, as there is likely 10k left in them but they are losing grip. TC comes on progressively more often

If I would let my wife drive it .....20k, but 15k on my PS2's is about all I can get.

I went through the Conti's on the rear in 6K...twice. Switched to PS2's which appear to be lasting a little longer and are a far superior tire. Much improved ride, handling and less noise.

I always keep a pair of new rear tires in the garage. Gives me the mental freedom to abuse the hell out the tires because I know I already have new ones just waiting.

I get 12 to 15K out of a set of fronts.

Three burnouts. Never more than 4, but usually 3.

How do your tires usually wear? Mine are pretty good near the outside but bald on the inside. I have been driving with the airmatic set at sport 2. When the dealer does an alignment, is it set at a particular setting or does the "Star" over ride the suspension?

Thanks,
Steve
