By asap, you mean anyday? Sweet!!
Vids of our tuned C63 vs a stocker: https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-amg-w204/262770-mhp-c63-vs-stock-c63-gallardo-vids.html

Yes, we change more variables (because we have access to more) than other tuners.
No idea what 7g offers, but we offer a $ back guarantee that we'll make you more power and net you better overall refinement (part and WOT throttle) than anyone else. We can tune your TCU for a built trans with valve body mod NP.

Thanks
Andy

SO, for ECU, I would potentially gain even more? Would I basically have to abandone my current tune or do you simply add to it?

Tuning the TCU is where my main interest is and I like that you can tune based on mods. My next step is to identify who to do the hardware mods. Is it as simple as communicating those specs to you and sending in the TCU?

Can't wait for some data on the 55s. Glad you are enjoying your C63.

Yes, and you'll also make more power due to the reduced TM in the TCU as well. If you're looking for a built trans I would HIGHLY recommend Paramount Performance's 722.6/722.9s. They are battle tested and reasonably priced as well. You got it as far as what needs to be done.
Thanks, loving the car. I put a stock ECU back in it today to redyno (last time we didn't have a torque figure) in the next few days, feels like a pig lol. Then v2 testing on Friday at Norwalk.

Your worst nightmare...
Andy- How much HP & Tq will your tune give the 65's? Would really like to see results. I have seen some of Renntechs car put out close to 610-615 rwhp....with over 720rwtq....will your cars be getting more than this? if so don't you think the stock turbo will *Kappoff*, Stock manifolds can only hold close to 650 rwhp, I am guessing that other parts need reinforcements like the cooling system which is a big parasite in these engines. ballpark figure What ET's do you predict for your 65's and let's not forget MPH...

Just interested in knowing these figures no pun intended just car talk....

No worries... how are those dyno charts coming for a stock 65? Maybe you can use those software skills to p-shop them...

Ok guys, lets look at the best proven tunes out there for the 65's:

Kleemann: Price $4,500
RENNtech: Price $5,800 (W215)
VRP Tuning: Price $2,995
Powerchip: Price $2,495

Since this is in the W211 section, I will subsequently post the 55 and 63 pricing and dynos for each application.

Here is one of the best dyno charts from an S65 (Roger Ver's) running RENNtech ECU/TCU and I believe the C/F airboxes:

Third gear dyno max power is 610.83hp. If you correlated speed to rpm's it would be peaking at about 3,600 rpm and putting down 750+rwtq.

Another RENNtech dyno: SGC's showing 605.99rwhp and 724.86rwtq:

VRP Tuning's 65 dyno showing an uncorrected 550rwhp on 91 octane. The correction factor would probably be around 2% (another 11rwhp) and an additonal bump for us guys who have access to 93 octane.

How are you arriving at the 2% number and where is the tq curve?

Kleemann dyno. The Kleemann dyno is reporting crank hp. I believe this dyno was done in Colorado Springs which has an elevation of 6,000+ft. A n/a car would lose over 100hp at this elevation. I can't find a good calculator to determine a turbo car's loss. I think if you focus more on the power under the curve you see that the Kleemann tune isn't about peak hp...but rather the earlier delivery of the power.

I am basing that on Dynojet correction factors for the humidity, barometric pressure and temperature...which are all on the chart. I think the torque figure is somewhat low if you interpolate based on projected RPM (using my car as a guide)...somewhere around 675rwtq...based on a 91 octane tune. I would say that figure would rise above 700rwtq with a 93 octane tune and standard correction factors.

Wow...you really need to be educated in a bunch of areas...or you just can't let your anger go to think rationally.... Ok the mathematical equation for torque is as follows:

TQ = (HP X 5252)/RPM

Let's see what the graph gives us...the VRP and RENNtech ones not the mythical MHP one... give hp over speed. Well, guess what.. VRP used an SL65...it has the same engine, same transmission, same gear ratios as the CL65 I drive. I was able to go out and use the same gear that the dyno was done in and mark the speeds on my speedometer and through my G-tech pro (which measures the tach signal as calibrated through my lighter) and compare the relative RPM at such speed. From this information, I was able to plot the relative RPMs against the dyno information. I then was able to use the above formula to calculate an estimated torque figure. Now if you read what I said.. I said "interpolate"...I have attached the wikipedia definition for "interpolation". If you read it, you will see that it is not exactly precise... but it will give you a good enough picture...especially when you can compare the results against a stock baseline dyno ...which was also provided.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interpolation

Andy...talk about something for nothing... I am sorry...no more free lessons for you. If you want anymore of an "education" from me I will have to start charging you ($500/hr). Sorry...

Tom
