Bose sound system in w211?
Hey guys

Searching for e55 to buy and couple of sellers posting that the car got Bose sound system. Isn't it all w211 came with Harman/cardon stereo systems? I know w210 had bose, but not a w211

Both my '05 and '06 had it standard (HK that is). I dunno who makes the units.

I think it is Bose- the amp is Bose.

Mark Levinson car is made by HK- sound quality is good in the Lexus.

I think HK is in the BMW- really nice sound- 2- 8" woofers underneath the front seat.

My friend got s5 with bang and olofsson, but 5 years old bose system in rs6 still sounds better and got more bass. HK sound is very poor. I asked the question since I thought that there were some kind of option to install Bose Sound system into e55

You might change your mind on HK once you listen to a 650/750. The sound system in the 750 is the best stock system I ever listened to. You don't know where the bass is coming from.
The E55 system is terrible compared to it.

i have no idea what you guys are talking about.. the HK in my 55 sounds sick compared to alot of other stock sound systems i've heard... bass is not bad at all... alot of people thought i might have at least a 12" in the trunk or something but its stock

I think Bose was in Audis and I think I had it maybe in the BMW M5, Harman Kardon in these w211 AMG cars...
