E55 at the dealership...Good price?

Hey guys,

New to the forum well post wise at least...

I went to a local dealer today and test drove an 04 E55 w/48k miles

It was in near perfect condition as far as I could see except for some curbage on the wheels.

It was fully loaded (nav, dynamic seats, keyless etc. except for pano roof)

I also wanted to know how I could tell if the car had the Harman Kardon sound system since I didn't really turn it up while I was driving...

2nd owner car with service B just performed not too long ago...NO WARRANTY

They wanted $37,250 otd for the car is this a good price? I was hoping for some in the range of $35,000 otd?

What do you guys think? Thanks in advance!!

With no warranty, that many miles, and damaged rims, that's maybe a $30k-$32k car.

It's way overpriced.

That's the sales price, not out the door.

I agree it's a little overpriced. Make sure to get a Pre-Purchase-Inspection from a 3rd party, well worth it. An extended warranty will run you another $2-$3k, might be worth negotiating in on the price too. I was in the market researching for over a month before I bought mine. There are some deals to be had if you can find them.

dealer is willing to do $35,000 otd...

That makes it about $31,900 before TTL (here in California)

For that price, make them fix the rims and toss in new floor mats.
