What Size of Tires???
Hello... I am about to buy a 2005 E55-T.
So far I like 2 Wheels a lot:
1. The AMG Style IV in Grey (like Budharvolsten)

2:The original Wheels from the CLS55 (from Fiksen)
![](http://viper.dragtimes.com/E55/2005-Mercedes-Benz-E55-AMG-CLS-Wheels.jpg)
Do the original CLS55 & SL65 wheels have the right dimension & rimm offset for my E55 or do I have to order those wheels specially for my E55?
The CLS Style III wheels I found in the following dimension:
What tiresize do I need to put on those wheels?
Thank you very much for your Help and best regards from Zürich, Switzerland...

Yep, like them too. And I found a set of nice ones for less than $ 1'200.-...
Still can't decide if I like the SL65 wheels better, or If I should go for the CLS Wheels...
PS: Really like your "lieber Nürburgring als Ehering" ;-)... It's my second Home....

one day i would like to drive on the nordschleife circuit.
yes the rims will fit, but stock tire size of cls will be too big for e55 so will have to change the tires to the size i recommended. the cls rims will stick out 3mm more that the stock the e55 rims due to different offset

Nordschleife? All you need is a Flight to Germany... let me know when you are going... Will take you in my E55T (should have it by then...)

Actually, both the CLS five-spoke style wheels and the SL65 two-piece double spoke wheels are available with specific fitments for the W211 chassis, and both measure 8.5x19 front and 9.5x19 rear. The standard CLS wheel offsets (et25 and et28) will sit further outboard on an E. Not a huge issue, but not exactly what the factory has specified for the W211 chassis, either.
So long as you find either set of the above noted AMG wheels with a front offset of et30 and a rear offset of et31, and install 245/35/19 and 275/30/19 tires on them, you will know you have the fitment for the E55 that was the approved fitment specified by the TUV. The TUV approval letter to Mercedes is buried within the WIS if you'd like to confirm.

Thank you... Looks like I've just made a bargain... E55 T with only 36K, fresh Tires, and 2 Sets of Wheels, the SL65 ones (new Tires) and for the Winter 18' 5 spokes... ![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)

W211 E320 AMG 19 inch Tyre size HELP !!!!
W211 E320 AMG 19 inch Tyre size HELP !!!!
Hi All, I'm new to this forum so excuse me if I'm going over old ground.
I have a W211 E320 AMG and am looking to replace the current 18" wheels to New 19" AMG Type 3, (CLS 5 spoke), 8.5j Front and 9.5j on rear.
Ideally I do not wish to lower the suspension and need advice on the best tyre profiles. Thinking of having 245 40 19's on the front and 255 35 19's on the rear.
PLEASE HELP - Any advice is appreciated, (pls attach pics if possible).
