thanks to everyone!
...not only to those setting up the event and helping with the tangibles, but also to everyone else that has made this a positive prelude full of camaraderie instead of the pissing matches that have plagued the board lately. i missed this atmosphere and it's a welcomed return.

What about marking the cars that don't want to be filmed this way there is no unwanted video tapping of those cars. Maybe an "X" or something right next to or below the track #? Just an idea.

Bracket racing, absolutely a must, likely later in the day when the temps are too high for record times. We can focus on the drivers and see who really has mastered the car, the tree, the track and the opposing car.
This will be great , dam I cant sleep again.

Thanks for setting up this event. It will be a blast for sure.
Thanks for the heads-up Evan.....
Guys, like I said before, some members do not want to be videotaped, so please respect others' wishes and don't video tape anybody without their permission. You can talk to me at the track and I'll show you who doesn't want to be videotaped along with a few other notes regarding pictures.
So far, we are on schedule, as weather is cooperating and track conditions are great
Please don't forget your driver licenses and helmets on Saturday
I promise you all one memorable event
Thanks,
MB_Forever

2005 Crossfire SRT-6
Yep same one, I've pulled the tranny out of SRT-8's, SRT-6 and MANY M-B cars as well.
As far as people not wanting to be filmed..............someone should bring some white shoe polish and put an "X" on the drivers' window so it can be seen from the stands and will easily be known as not filmable. I'm also in the same boat as Cruizinquik though and all my runs will be filmed............if anybody doesn't want to be filmed then don't race against the Crossfires.

2006 E55
The weather high is showing 61dgrs with cloud cover. Should be nice!!!
By the way, my Jeep SRT8 also shares the same electronics and trans that my E55 had.
My latest wet flowed heads from Joe Mondello went on last Saturday. Here is a dynosheet of the test conducted last week with the Gen1 head and now the wetflow chamber. This is AWD dyno......otherwise the numbers would be higher. The Jeep loses 22% through the driveline.

Thanks for putting this together Moe!
Should be an event to remember.
Shoe white X's on the sides and front windsheild on the cars that don't want to be filmed or photographed is a great idea.
I believe Auktane/Pyrun will be shooting and Craig Lieberman will be filming that day to share the good times for the unfortunate ones unable to make it out.

ones too fast according to CHP!
We were at Willow Springs in Palmdale yesterday (you are all wimps for not showing up - we had mulitple black series (LZH, JimBrady, JRCart) as well as Ferrari, Porsche, etc), and it was 82 DEGREES!
This is in the Palmdale area. I would expect it to be warmer then the weather predicts.
I will be there personally and happy to meet so many enthusiasts that we only see online! We are bringing up some fast cars, so I think it will be a fun day for all!
Thanks
Brad
PS - JRCart should win the "warrior" award for being the only car that was at Willow on Thursday and will be at the drags on Saturday!
